Pros: Glass jar, easy to use, chops ice beautifully. Cons: Parts of blender not dishwasher safe.

Looking for a new blender now!

Pros: Good blender - if it works. Cons: Lacking customer service, poor quality
I received the Krups 239 as a wedding gift 5 years ago. I actually took it out of the box for the first time 2 weeks ago. On the first use, it worked fine, although it left chunks as other reviewers have experienced. On its second use, the blender just stopped working. Ok, maybe parts can fail if it's sitting for 5 years, and the blender is out of warranty, but I was extremely disappointed with the customer service that Krups had. No troubleshooting, just a referral to a local repair shop that can't fix it cheaper than I can get a new one. I will not be a repeat customer of Krups, that is certain.
