Pros: Fast at boiling water, safer than stovetop qv. Stylish looking. Cons: I honestly can't think of any.

Pros: Faster than a kettle on electric stovetop; energy efficient; attractive Cons: Takes counterspace (as opposed to stovetop space with my old Reverware kettle); no whistle

Excellent, reliable, and fast

My Krups Aqua Control tea kettle has been in service daily for over 3 years and it has functioned flawlessly. It heats quickly even with cold water. It is easy to handle. I will be buying a second one just in case they no longer become available in the future.
