Pros: Small footprint, shorter design for low cabinets, great double timer feature. Double auto timers. Cons: None so far.
Our last coffee maker, a Cuisinart DCT975 went belly-up after only 7 months on the job. The problem was that the controls were in the base and with an overflow, the machine fried its brains. No longer able to use it, we returned it to BB&B for a ...
Pros: Makes a good pot of coffee. Cons: Perhaps difficult for lefties to fill reservoir. Carafe handle gets too hot. Carafe can drip.
I wanted a coffee maker with the following features: programmable, at least a 10-cup capacity, a carafe made of glass so that I can see how far to fill it and with an opening that is large enough for easy cleaning of the inside. I also wanted ...
Pros: Small footprint, compact profile, accessible controls, nice appearance Cons: Poor ergonomics and carafe, and a mediocre heating element.
It's a sad time for consumer-level coffee makers. The mfr's just seem to be phoning it in, demonstrating a clear lack of pride where creating a truly competent product is concerned. Why, then, do they bother? Just leave last-year's model on the shelf and ...
Pros: Stylish and worked well until it broke. Cons: Built too cheaply for something this expensive. Warranty neglects common sense.
We had really enjoyed our coffee maker. We bought it in January, 2009. We figured it was worth it to buy a good quality coffee maker since we brew coffee a lot. In October after making a pot of coffee, the top wouldn't open. I removed the button to open ...
Pros: Stylish. Cons: Sty lish, as in sty. Heavy, messy, wasteful, inaccurate.
I can't wait for this machine to burn out so I can replace it. I've had it for 3 months now and don't like much about it. Heavy when filled. Krups suggests too many coffee grounds. Spill water EVERY fill. Have to hold carafe up a foot over my head to fill. Spill coffee on counter with every pour. VERY POOR design. You'd think after all these years Krups could design a carafe that pours without spillage. Programming useless.
Pros: Nice to look at. Nice 2 Progam Auto On feature. Cons: Horrible carafe. Spills with every poor. Hard to fill with water. Poor coffee basket design.
Don't be fooled by the nice looking design.
Although the KM4065 makes good coffee, Carafe drips condensate and coffee on the counter with ever pour. Poor quality control procedures with inferior design carafe
