Pros: Excellent Value, super quiet, very nice handling... Cons: If you have to buy American, you'll have to sit this one out...
Summary: I was banging around under the wife's 2000 Jetta VR6 the other day and I caught a glimpse of the worn Eagle RS-As. My wife told me earlier in the week that she was planning a weekend trip to San Antonio with our five-year old for a visit with her friend ... read more

Pros: Inexpensive, good-grip, good all-weather handling and stopping Cons: Weird design on the sidewall
Summary: Excellent quality tires, for a budget price. I bought four Kumho Ecsta HP4 tires for my 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP when the Continental ContiTouring tires that I had on it were going bald. I don’t know if it was just the new tires or whether the ... read more

Pros: Great Handling, Wet Traction, and extremely quiet. Cons: None
Summary: The first thing that I noticed was a big improvement in cornering. The next thing was how much quieter they were than the stock tires. The Kuhmo 716 ECSTA HP4's replaced OEM TR rated Continental's that I drove for 1600 miles. Wow, what an improvement! My ... read more

Pros: Quiet, sticky, flexible without sway, firm and substantial feeling. No booming like the Michelins. Longer tread wear. Cons: Nails, staples, huge screws, or a bolt in my tires, but that hasn't happened yet.
Summary: I have owned several high-performance automobiles, both American and Foreign, and I have driven them all at high speeds on the open Texas highways. I currently have two sons attending college which necessitated putting my wife into an 99 Acura 3.2TL. ... read more

Pros: Tracction, Price, Handling and Reliability. Cons: Some people might believe the cheap price delivers a cheap tire.
Summary: If you are still reading this article you are probably wondering what is a Kumho. If you are familiar with this line of tires it was probably from a bad experience. In fact at one time Big-O tires were made in a Kumho factory but its been a while ... read more

Pros: Fair price, excellent snow/wet traction for an all-season tire, quiet Cons: Ugliest sidewall of all time?
Summary: I drive a twelve year old family sedan with lots of torque (which means with poor tires, I spin the front wheels easily on wet pavement). Since I bought the car used, and because I had put more than 30,000 miles on the obviously used tires, I felt it ... read more

Pros: Price and performance Cons: Ice/Snow traction iffy
Summary:
Thanks for reading my second review on Kumho tires.
What's a "Kumho" you might ask? No, it's not the sound Korean's make when they sneeze...It's a relatively obscure Korean company that makes very good tires for the money. I know what ... read more

Pros: Low cost, great all around tire Cons: none to date
Summary: I bought these tires for colder months. My car comes with summer tires stock, but since I live in North Carolina, I don't need a full snow tire. Admittedly, I bought these tires because of the cost. However, they have proven to be very competent
