Makes it easy to put poo where it belongs: in the toilet.

by mommy_quigg , Jun 11 '07
Pros: separates poo from diaper for easy disposal in the toilet
Cons: difficult to separate one liner from the next
Before buying these, I used toilet paper (4 sheets of 2 ply, folded in half to make 2 squares of 4ply) or a tissue (folded in half, along crease) as a liner. Although it worked better than no liner at all, they were always soaked in pee, so I had ...

Great Idea but needs some work!

by satie37 , Sep 07 '02
Pros: Durable, thick
Cons: Narrow, can clog toilet, not soft, don't wash well
I am an avid cloth diaper user but would probably not be so if it were not for disposable diaper liners. These are a GREAT idea and if you use cloth diapers they ELIMINATE having to clean poop off of diapers. I think this is the biggest drawback to...

A lot less scraping and shaking!

by pinkskittle , Aug 03 '06
Pros: cheap, effective
Cons: none
I recently started using cloth diapers and a friend recommended I get these Kushies Disposable Liners. One babies are on a solid diet, their poop gets, well, solid! You aren't supposed to throw poop in the garbage, you're supposed to shake it into the ...

Makes changing cloth so much easier!

by livibellasema , Apr 23 '08
Pros: Makes cloth diapering even easier!
Cons: I don't care for the roll design.
I can't say enough good things about his product! In my family cloth diapering is standard. Its just part of everyday life. I long ago gave up (for the most part anyway) dunking soiled diapers. But Kushies flushables went a step further. You can ...

My favorite liner

by kristyc4 , Sep 23 '03
Pros: Longer, thicker and easier to use than alternative.
Cons: Don't last through the wash as well as alternative.
Let me start this out by saying that no liner is perfect. Every type I've tried allows soft stools to get around the edges and a little onto the diaper. This has never bothered me much, as 90% of the waste still stays on the liner and that little bit on t ...

Acceptable backup

by brandyr73 , Oct 23 '08
Pros: Flushable
hold wet muck to minimize staining diaper
Cons: Roll sits out
Stiff
one size only
thick paper-like, not comfortable
These Kushies Flushable Biodegradable Diaper Liners are acceptable. I really liked the Kushies Kooshies (name differs from Canada to USA) diapers for home use and bought liners along with my purchase. They were less expensive per role for a pack of 3 ...

Not worth the money

by shay53703 , Apr 06 '08
Pros: Great idea in theory.
Cons: Doesn't work as well as expected, scratchy material.
I love the idea of this product: Flushable, biodegradable liners that go between babies and cloth diapers and supposedly make poop disposal a breeze - just dump and flush! I was so excited to buy some, but I am disappointed and underwhelmed by their ...

No way I was going to use these on my baby's skin

by silly129 , May 10 '08
Pros: Cheap, biodegradable, makes cloth diapering easy for some, convenient roll dispenser
Cons: Way too rough for baby's skin
When I decided to switch to cloth diapering, I researched on how to make the transition easier and these Kushies Flushable Biodegradable Diaper Liners were one of the suggestions. The idea is to line the cloth diapers with these, and when your baby has a ...

Horrible product! Stiff, Scratchy, Too Narrow!

by imdylansmom , Mar 17 '09
Pros: nothing
Cons: irritating, coarse, scratchy, too narrow, stiff
I have tried both these and Bummis liners.  The Kushies are horribly scratchy and stiff!  I hate them!  I wasted my money buying them!  I refuse to even try using them on my kids!  Bummis are larger and wider which is much more ...

Cons: shreds in the wash, can only use one time

Great for the infant stage

by sykadelik , Jul 05 '08
Pros: help with the poo content
Cons: bunch up in between the legs
I really liked these liners. When my little one was still breast feeding and pooping ALL THE TIME these made cding a lot more bearable. You still get staining, you still get poo on the diaper but you get a lot less poo on the diaper. They really help ...

A little bit of waste
by pfnk41 ,Sep 25 '08
Pros: They make poopy diapers quick
Cons: they are not very cost efficiant with just wet diapers, they go to waste.

I purchased these thinking I would save a little money in comparison to my usual liners I use. I found these were more of a waste of money then a help. With only 1 poopy diaper a day, I was going through more of them then nessesary.. They would just be wasted with the majority of my sons diapers being wet. I found the diaper ease, was not there and that I was just as well off without them at all. They became a hassle after three days of use. I feel like they were a wast of my money. I would recommend them for newborns and definitly breastfed babies.. Definitly younger babies but not over 10 or so months old. They are slightly narrow and do not protect the diaper really. I definitly will go back to my original brand of liners after I am threw with these. I personally do not think these held up in the wash..
These just definitly aren't for me. I would recommend liners for those looking to help extend the life of their cloth diapers. But ultimately with proper care, I dont suggest spending money on these.

good, but doesn't stay in place
by kmeddington ,Jan 28 '05
Pros: makes cloth diapering much easier, economical, can adjust the length easily
Cons: don't stay in place when baby is active, too narrow
The ONLY reason I was willing to do cloth was because of liners. I really like the idea of using liners, I just wish there was a better selection and that they were better designed. Still, liners are a great way to make cloth diapering a lot easier!!

These liners were decent. I liked having them on the roll so that you can cut them to the length you want. Liners that come out of a box individually are often way too big for infants.

The fabric is a little stiff and rough, but in some ways I think that helps them stay in place. Still, once my son became more active, rolling and crawling, they didn't stay in place. I would open his diaper and find the liner crumpled up on the side or the back. Then there's no point in having one there at all! They are also too narrow for older babies.

I never flushed these. With a septic system, I didn't want to take the risk. But throwing them in the trash is simple enough.

I love the idea of liners, and I hope that the design can be improved!

Gotta love them!
by kbaldridge ,Aug 02 '08
Pros: Easy to use, cheap
Cons: not great for newborns
We use these with our toddler and they are great. Its so easy to just take out the liner and flush it all down the toilet, rather than trying to "shake" it off. With our newborn they are pretty useless. It doesn't do much to hold in the "newborn runny poop". But once you start to introduce solids these are great.
