Pros: Reusable, relatively inexpensive, available in many places in my area. Cons: None
After starting to use cloth diapers, I wanted to go all cloth. Even though I still had a mostly-full package of swim diapers in the closet from last year that would still fit, I purchased one of these to take with us on vacation. Having to pay ...
Pros: Cute, earth-friendly, baby-friendly cloth solution! Cons: Loose around the waist, puffs up when worn on its own.
Yes, this swim diaper is all three: good, weird, kind of ugly. It works well, fits a huge range of sizes (15-30 lbs, I'd guess), but also kind of puffs up with pool water if you don't put a regular bathing suit over it. How it works: Kushies ...
Since switching to cloth diapers from disposable diapers, the next logical step of course was that of moving from the disposable swim diapers, to the reusable ones. After I used the last of the pack of Little Swimmers, I bought a Kushies Swim Diaper....
Pros: Easy on and off, cute patterns, gusseted legs, fits under bikini bottoms! Cons: Older babies may find the waist ties and velco tabs and open the diaper
Our baby hated water when she was young so we didn't attempt any swimming until she was 3 months old. I bought a 12 count package of disposable swim diapers in size small. When I was at the store I misread the label, thinking it said it was for babies ...

For that, the Kushies Swim Diaper works well. Velcro tabs make...
Pros: cheap Cons: does not fit well, dangerous ties
I bought several of the swim diapers to use on my then 18 month old girl. I bought the kind with the built in halter top (the girl's style). They never seemed to stay on! The Velcro is not very strong, and the diaper didn't fit well (too tight around the...
Cheap, reusable, FABULOUS by swimmyfishmom ,Apr 22 '09
Pros: Cheap, easy to use, reusable, functional, long-lasting, material doesn't retain pool water. Cons: None.
I've used the one we have for about a year, it's still in great shape, and I can't say enough great things about it. I hated disposables: difficult to get off, not reusable, expensive. When my daughter was very little, I just used the Kushies. Now, I put her bathing suit over the Kushies and I've never had a problem. Velcro lays flat for me when I tie it closed, so that's never been a problem for us.
