Pros: Works Great Cons: None so far
Excellent washer. The washer is not mounted on concrete, just a wooden floor. Initially, even with the foot adjusters set correctly, it shook significantly, and walked around the floor a little bit. You could feel the floor vibrating when it was in ...

Pros: Cleans great, large number of washing options, is a high-efficiency model, good value. Cons: It does sit a little low and accessing the front-load hatch does require some bending.
Background We bought this washer (with matching dryer - DLE0442W) in April 2007. We needed to replace our older Kenmore Calypso washer and matching dryer. Our old dryer was still functioning, but the Calypso washer was having numerous ...

Pros: Washes well, uses only the necessary amount of water, and does hand washable clothing. Cons: User must lay on floor to empty the residual water from the drain plug.
The LG washing machine has in my opinion a major flaw. It does not remove all of the water from the machine and leaves water in the area under the drum. The odor from this standing water is not healthy. In plain words, the machine begins to smell. ...

Pros: Quiet, Cleans great, Easy to use, Energy Star Efficient Cons: None
After much research, we chose this washer to replace our 7 year old Maytag Atlantis which died. I was a little nervous about purchasing an LG product as we have never in the past. I spent probably 2 weeks going to the stores and online researching, ...

Pros: Good looks, reasonable price. Cons: Poor customer service, questionable quality.
Last summer I purchased an LG WM0642HW front loader from Home Depot. It sounded exactly like what I was looking for and I thought the price was reasonable for a front loader. Unfortunately, I had nothing but problems with the machines from the ...

Pros: Eco-friendly, large capacity, spins clothes nearly dry, lots of options for cycle settings. Cons: Price, but this one is only a few hundred dollars more than a toploader.
If you're debating between a frontloader and a toploader, this is an excellent choice. It's at the lower end of the price range for frontloaders, and worth the money due to all the features it has. I bought the LG at Home Depot 3 months ago and am ...

Pros: Ease of selecting cycles and features, clothes are very dry, energy efficient. Cons: None that I've found so far.
What a great washer! I purchased this washer because I didn't need a stacking set and LG brand was the only way to go. After reading the consistently really good and really bad reviews on all of the other major front-load brands, LG only ever had really ...

Pros: Ease of set-up & operation. Super clean clothes & fun to use! Cons: Hmmmm? nothing so far. really.
I confess, I'm an internet "review" reading junkie when it comes time to make a purchase decision I like to see what my fellow consumers that have gone before me think. When my old Kenmore washing machine gave it up for the last time, I started my ...

Pros: Saves water and energy, gets clothes very clean Cons: No one works on them, won't last long
We had this machine exactly 1 year and 4 days before we had any problems. Suddenly the drum won't spin and there is an error message. After calling LG 3 times and trying to reset the machine as they instructed, still won't work. Then on to trying to find ...

Pros: Cleans superbly, saves water and electricity, stylish, adaptable to any environment, solid build. Cons: I suggest professional installation and leveling (most stores do this free, or offer a rebate).
I, like another consumer here, went through the Craplypso nightmare. Constant repairs, complaints to the manufacturer and even a report to Good Housekeeping who had given it the GH stamp of approval! Nobody wanted to help. So, when I finally tired ...

Pros: Cleanest clothes, ultra quiet, hardly uses water, easy programming, makes work fun, great customer service. Cons: Reteaching ourselves completely different ways of washing clothes after a lifetime of learning otherwise.
We have had nothing but success and wonderfully clean clothes with this washer. I have never felt shirts or towels that are so soft, which is because finally something has washed the dirt out! Errors We did get an LE error, but called Best ...

Pros: Cleaner clothes, easy to operate, quality, price compared to other front loaders Cons: None
I am big on researching, researching and doing even more research before I purchase any given product. I took a big leap and bought the LG WMO642H front load washing machine without finding any reviews out on this particular LG model. I narrowed it down ...

Pros: Laundry is clean as can be, Quiet, Energy efficient, Design Cons: None that I can see... yet
We purchased this model after doing extensive research online and talking with anyone and everyone we could find. You see, we wanted to make sure that we did not repeat the CALYPSO nightmare that we have been living for the last 5 years. We were so ...

Pros: Height, pedastal height Cons: everything else
We seriously thought we liked this machine for the first 4 months. But, if you like your repair man, then you should definitely buy this machine! We have been without a machine for over a month now. When we first purchased this washer, it seemed to ...
