Pros: Multiple drying cycle combinations; sensor dry; custom programing; quiet; stylish; energy saving; audible dinger
Cons: Lint filter lacking; Trim on door should be uniform with other LG models
I love this dryer. I purchased it in October of 2007 and it has done a great job so far. It was bought along with the LG WM2455HW washing machine which I also adore. The sensor dry works well for me therefore it is energy saving in that the dryer shuts ...

Pros: Style Cons: Quality, design
We purchased an LG DLE2516 dryer in November, 2007. I liked the style and had read good reviews. There are only two adults in our household. I do an average of four loads of laundry per week.In December, 2008 - 13 months after purchase - the dryer ...

Great investment
by ihavethattoo ,Sep 21 '09
Pros: Quiet, so many options for cycles, so easy to use Cons: None yet...
I purchased this dryer, and the matching washer about a week ago. I am so pleased all around. The dryer is so quiet, easy to use, and chock full of options. As stated by other reviewers sometimes the clothes didn't get 100% dry, but this was easily fixed by adjusting the dryness level. I just pushed it once or twice, it added a few more minutes to the sensor drying time, and voila, perfect every time. I think one my favorite things is that since using the front loader pair, the amount of lint in the filter is next to nothing. The washer is so gentle to the clothes, that the dryer lint is a joke.

First Impressions - I am in love.
by gnarly409 ,Feb 16 '08
Pros: Looks good, easy to use, lots of options, FAST and gentle. Cons: Difficult to connect up the power cord. Can't get MTV on this thing. Poor manuals.
I purchased this dryer with it's matching washer. I am a transplant from Europe and we have been using front load washer/dryers for ever and they were always poor quality, noisy, they walk all over the house, and they are damaging to your clothes. I was reluctant to ever go there again, but, I was wrong on this one. The first wash was a revelation. My wife and I simply could not believe the difference over our old top load Frigidaire washer and it's matching dryer. Then came the dryer bit. Oh my, what is happening here? We did 3 loads that increased in weight and moisture retaining quality that finished off with towels and jeans. We were used to having our drying time measured in hours for some of this stuff. This LG dryer transformed a huge load of heavy wet stuff into bone dry, wrinkle free, put it straight back in the closet, in 32 minutes on medium heat. The lighter loads took half this time. If you never do anything else positive in your life...get one of these now.

My first electric dryer.
by frettenmaier ,Sep 20 '09
Pros: Many different drying selections. Cons: Clothes don't always dry. Filter sensor has a problem.
I have always used a gas dryer. I sold my good Kitchen Aid gas dryer and got this LG to match the new washer. It doesn't get the clothes as dry as my gas dryers did. I usually use the sensor dry cycle and most of the clothes are dry, but not the thick items.
