Pros: Good voice quality listening and talking Good reception sensitivity Cons: Navigation wheel and touch pad controls too sensitive Short battery life compounded by quick discharge
The LG Chocolate VX8550 Cell Phone is an update of the earlier VX8500 model. While this model still has some of the design limitations mentioned in the 8500 reviews, there have been some improvements, particularly to the touchy ...
Pros: Great sound and picture quality, ringtones sound perfect, stylish. Cons: The face gets scratched up easily and I haven't found a cover
Despite the fact that I'm on my third LG Chocolate I still like it. I had two phones0 go on the "fritz" and unexplainably loose all my information and I had to get new phones each time. That is a major negative in my opinion but since I ...
Pros: Nice phone, small yet very functional Cons: Touch sensitive menu on the phone can graze your cheek while talking on the phone
Let me start by saying that I'm not a techie, so my review is mostly based on looks, performance and usability. Looks: I bought the red (berry?) version of this phone because at the time I bought it this was the most "girly" color available. I ...
Pros: Very attractive cosmetics. Simple Functions. Not more than you need, not less. Cons: Scratches easily due to polished exterior.
Life's Good. That's LG's slogan. But some consumers feel otherwise about the LG Chocolate: They feel Life isn't "Good" with this phone. I say, Life couldn't be better.Let me tell you why:Firsthand experience< b>I have ...
This phone is pretty nice phone from LG. The features are numerous, the phonebook is ample, it responds to voice commands although not very well, there's a camera phone, it is internet capable, you can receive picture, and song content from other ...
Pros: Nice size, full screen, lots of cool features. Cons: The small keys and the flimsy side covers.
I've had the LG VX8550 for a couple of months now. I mainly purchased it because of its looks and capabilities. It is a sleek looking phone with many features, like playing mp3s. I do like the navigation wheel but I have to wonder how long it ...
great features, lousy design by tocthecat ,Aug 24 '08
Pros: none Cons: really really really really really bad design
My wife and I got these phones recently. They are very attractive, have a decent camera, and can function as a Ipod like music player. However the touch buttons are way too sensitive even when set to lowest sensitivity. Also they are too close to the scroll wheel. I would often open my contacts or cancel the music player by accidentally bumping the touch keys. Also the voice command key on the side is too easy to turn on. And I never knew if the phone was going to be in speaker mode, the button is one of the touch keys, but there's no indication on the screen. The 0-9 keys for dialing are so small you end up hitting the wrong key often. The phones collect fingerprints easily and look crappy after half a day of playing with them. We returned the phones after a few days - I would like to have thrown the stupid thing up against a wall just for the satisfaction of seeing it smashed into tiny bits. I got a Juke and while it has many less features, it works much better.
