Pros: Excellent cleaning, washes and dries in one unit, quiet, reliable. Cons: Drying takes longer than in seperate units.
This machine was purchased as an upgrade from the LG WM3431HW (see my review "Good Vibrations") mainly because I wanted more capacity since I now have a true laundry room with actual hookups. I did consider getting a regular or stacked washer with a ...
Pros: when a vented gas or electric dryer is not pratical it's great Cons: It does take long to dry, but you can adjust.
As it seems as in all LG the pump is loud!!!!!!! Why I don't know, but the rest is a great machine. Same problem with all LGs> Again if you think the dryler is slow get something else. Oops, machine ...
Pros: ease of use, large capacity, steam, stylish, VERY good at washing Cons: takes a long time to dry
I LOVE this washer. it gives us the option to 'forget' about clothes and they come out dry. However, if you use it as just a washer, and use a stand alone dryer, you will notice VERY fast times and much better dry clothes performance. My wife is a ...
Pros: Saves water, saves time and money. Cons: None so far... two months and still very happy.
It has been two months since purchasing this unit after a long debate about buying a product at this price point sight unseen. I almost did not buy it based on fears raised by those whom had bought the LG unit and were used to owning two separate washer ...
Pros: I'm really bummed out that this company sucks. Cons: They have the 'lowest' prices but then tack on a whopping $150 shipping charge.
I ordered an LG WM3988HWA Front Load Washer from a company called Full House Appliances. They have HORRIBLE customer service. I ordered the washer/dryer expecting it to come in a few days. They have ...
Pros: Regular wall outlet, clean and dry clothes, little lint, quiet and efficient. Cons: Here is what I hate about it - NOTHING.
My wife and I purchased our LG WM3988HWA about 8 months ago or so. I read all the reviews I could find before we did it, and it took some big time convincing for my wife to sign on. We didn't know there was such a machine (all in one) until ...
Pros: Set it and forget it! Save energy. Cons: Long drying cycle... which does not bother us in the least. Just plan for it.
We are very pleased with this washer/dryer. After three month with it I've yet to find any faults. Because it's not vented drying does take a long time. We normally load the machine at night and program it so that it finishes when we wake up. This way the clothes don't lay there getting wrinkled. Love the steam fresh cyle, it eliminates wrinkles.
One hidden benefit to having this dryer is it's low power usage. It can be run with a small 120 V generator. During our last power outage which lasted five days we ended up with a mountain of laundry. The next time we are without power we'll be able to both wash and dry without having to buy a large 220 V generator.
Pros: Set it and forget it, energy efficient, space saver Cons: SLOW
This is a good little unit, but it is SLOW! So it would be great for a single person or even a couple, but if you have a family, it is not going to keep up with you.
The washing is slow and the drying is really slow. Over 3 hours
Also, it should be pointed out that although it is a big washer, you can't fill it up if you plan to dry.
As others mentioned, you will feel like your clothes are not getting dry, they will not come out hot or even warm...
