Pros: Solidly built; no vibration; numerous washing choices; handsome machine; does a good job. Cons: Bleach dispenser must be rinsed after use; lid locks on all cycles; expensive.
Summary: After considerable research and recommendations from friends and relatives, I finally decided on purchasing the LG WT5101HV top loading washing machine. The “V” in the model number stands for the grey graphite steel color. It was purchased at ... read more

Pros: Energy Star rating Cons: Can't clean clothes if you paid it. What am I thinking, I am paying it.
Summary: We purchased this machine to replace our 30 year old Maytag. Why, I'll never know. If you're looking for an energy star product this may be your machine. However, if you prefer to have clean clothes look elsewhere. They get their energy star rating by ... read more

Pros: very quiet, large load capacity, easy on the hot water heater Cons: comparatively expensive, no hot water wash cycle, LG un-responsive to problem
Summary: I am sorry I bought this washer and do not recommend it. There is a hot wash cycle on the control board but it means nothing, the water is lukewarm at best. At first I thought I just got a lemon and had the washer replaced with a new one. Same result, no ... read more

Pros: Cleans great, large tub, HE Top Loader Cons: none so far
Summary: After researching for quite a awhile I came up with this washer and the matching dryer as our choice. I would say easily 80% of reviews are very positive which is almost a rarity today. Even the majority of so called bad reviews are complaining about ... read more

Pros: Large Capacity, that's it !!! Cons: DOES NOT CLEAN/REMOVE SPOTS OR ALLOW IN "HOT" WATER CLOTHES NOT CIRCULATED FOR CLEANING
Summary: Bought this LG Top Loader WAVE washer after doing extensive research and trusting other online reviews... but I'm not sure if these people have ever had a decent washer before. This is my first review EVER - so I'm not one of those ... read more

Pros: It is very quiet, looks great, works great for any load that is off balance. Cons: No HOT water, tears zippers pulls off, twists sheets, tub too deep for short people
Summary: I have had this washer for 2 years. It has torn the zipper pulls off 2 fleece jackets and made another fleece jacket unuseable because of damage to the zipper. I agree with complaints about the hot water. I have shut

Pros: Slick Look Cons: Unreliable junk, poor/no LG customer service
Summary: My washer failed after 22 months of use. After a month of playing around with LG and 4 separate service trips to my home, my washer was deemed unrepairable and I got rid of it. LG still wanted ALL of the parts replaced to be replaced a second time, my

Pros: None other than it's pretty Cons: No warm or hot water. Poor customer service. Piece of junk.
Summary: First set-washer looks, sounds beautiful. No hot water. Warm water is exactly the same as the cold water = ICE COLD. Had repair man out, nothing wrong with machine. He told me it's the new technology. Why have a warm water

Pros: It looks good. The cycle options look good. Cons: Does not clean clothes. Can do better by hand.
Summary: This washer is brand new. Clothes do not completely "cyle" through the water. I've had to stop the cycle and rearrange the clothes just to make it spit a little more water in and actually get the clothes wet. Lighter clothing floats to

Pros: Does a great job washing Cons: Finish on the lid is awful!
Summary: I've had my machine around two weeks. I'm very, very happy with the job it does cleaning. However, there are scratches all over the lid of my machine, only on the part that supposed to be silver. I haven't put anything on there that could have done it,

Pros: Plays tune when it's done, like Batman and Robin playing the flute from the 1960s Cons: Can't download new "finished" tones. Would love a "Harry Potter" laundry melody.
Summary: This machine is COOL. It wasn't pricey, and I can't think of anything I wish it did that it doesn't do. It cleans well and doesn't damage clothing. And this may be a weird thing to say about a danged washing machine, but...it's kinda fun to watch.

Pros: Capacity, Style, Performance Cons: Dumbdowned water temps; spin at 1100rpms for 1 minute
Summary: I received my washer on 8/21/10. I really love my washer. It uses enough water, holds a lot of clothes and performs flawlessly. It really gets clothes clean. It uses an impeller that sloshes the clothes back and forth.
