Pros: Makes hair more: soft, manageable, shiny, full. Reduces build-up. Scent grows on you. Cons: Scent takes a LOT of getting used to; not particularly moisturizing; pricey
So all of you reading this review probably know who Cynthia Sylvia Stout is. That's because you know of the story by Shel Silverstein that talks about how Cynthia Sylvia Stout would not take the garbage out. Yeah. Then there's me. I had no clue ...

Pros: leaves hair extra-shiny, you only need a small amount per use Cons: expensive, not much lather, doesn't eliminate frizz
I've had many disappointments with LUSH bath bombs, soaps, and bath melts. When I placed my last order, I decided to try new areas like hair care and ordered an interesting shampoo called Cynthia Sylvia Stout Shampoo. I had no idea what the name ...

Pros: cleans well, prevents frizz, adds shine, conditioner not needed!, scent disappears Cons: weird scent, expensive
I'm not sure when I first heard the tip about washing hair with beer, but it must've been in one of those teen magazines eons ago when I was a teenager. The claim is that if you rinse your hair with beer it will have extra bounce and volume. It's one of ...

Pros: Smells awesome, leaves hair soft and shiny, a little goes a long way. Cons: Expensive, only mailorder unless you're lucky enough to live or vacation near a LUSH store.
Remember that poem by Shel Silverstein? Sarah Cynthia Silvia Stout would not take the garbage out. That's the only part of the poem I remember but when I'm in the shower and I reach for my Cynthia Sylvia Stout shampoo from LUSH that poem always comes ...

Pros: decent lather Cons: reeks of beer, made my hair fall out, very difficult to rinse out
As soon as you open the Lush Cynthia Sylvia Stout shampoo the scent of beer is almost overwhelming. I toured a brewery last year in Portland, Maine and even it didn't have such a strong smell of hops. Considering the staff at the Lush store assured me ...

Pros: Clean, shiny, bouncy, soft hair. Cons: Price, smell.
Let's start with the first complaint that most people have about the LUSH shampoos and conditioners: the smell. No, straight from the bottle, Cynthia Sylvia Stout does not smell good. As its name would suggest (as well as its ingredients), it does smell ...
