let's start with the ambiance: it's casual, noisy and close quarters just like home ( i believe it was designed to be that way)the food is great tasting, simple, and plenty of it at a reasonable price!! this is not a foo foo restaurant the fish dishes are large, tasteful and fresh just like whats served at my mothers house!!
I'm obviously an Italian with a peasant background and the food and ambiance is extremely good and authentic right down to the wine glasses( served in juice glasses)just like my grandmas house on Sunday mornings
if you're looking for small, gourmet portions or strange fusion Italian food this is not the place, but if you're looking for "original" Italian foods such as lasagna, ravioli, dozen of chicken and veal dishes and even pizza and calzones this is your place with all its oddities(noisy atmosphere and plain interior-just like home!!)
