Cons: Lengthy break-in period (still not too bad)

These boots seem to have a love/hate relationship for most people. I love them! They run a bit on the narrow side, which was great for my feet. They were pretty stiff when I bought them, and I had to take several short hikes to break them in, but at the end, they took my wife and I to the top of Whitney with comfort.
We have used them on snow climbs with crampons, and they handle marvelously. They are comfortable and warm when snowshoeing, and winter camping, and the stiffness and support keep feet happy when the uneven terrain would kill in most other boots.
I would highly recommend them, but warn that you should plan an extensive break-in period of short hikes.
