Pros: Inexpensive. Easy to use. Pretty good sound, especially for the price. Cons: May be hard to find. No off/on switch.

OK overall mic, bad for voice recognition

Pros: Long cord, stable base, rugged and durable- dropped it several times, no issues Cons: Unusable for voice recognition applications
I've been using this mic for over a year with no problems, its an average performer for voice chatting and the occasional game.
I recently got Dragon Naturally Speaking and tried to train the system with this mic but I continually got 'poor mic quality' errors from the software- indicating the signal to noise ratio was insufficient for voice recognition. I'm going to have to buy a decent mic now.
