I have been diving all over the world and Lahaina Divers rates as one of the better dive shops, especially for its large size. Despite large numbers of people on dive charters, the personal service offered is good and the dive groups still 6 people or less. I have dived with them several times over a number of years - along with every other well know dive shop on Maui - and I still prefer Lahaina Divers overall. A plus of being on such a big boat is that it's much more comfortable. All of their dive masters are personable and knowledgeable. The only downside of Lahaina Divers is that sometimes weather conditions prevent them from going to the "designated" site on the weekly charter schedule and because certain sites like Molokini Backwall are only offered once per week, if you miss this site due to bad weather, you would have to wait a week to try again!
