Pros: Discreet, absorbant and thin
Cons: Individually wrapped wastes a lot of packaging
As a nursing mother I have no regrets, but for the fact that no matter how much or little that I nurse I still leak on occasion.

I've tried everything from disposable pads to washable pads and my recommended brand is Lansinoh. (I've...

by momtomegan , Feb 19 '03
Pros: These pads absorb very well!
Cons: These pads are not cheap but they are well worth it!
Breast pads are a must have for a pregnant women especially if you are planning to breastfeed. I didn't have to start using breast pads until after I had Megan. I know some women who were using them before they had their babies.

Lansinoh Disposable Nursing Pads are Great for Travel

by modernmarvel Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 50, Aug 28 '04
Pros: Disposable; individually-wrapped for travel; thin, discreet fit
Cons: Lots of packaging, not as comfortable as cotton nursing pads
For those new to nursing, nursing pads fit into your bra and absorb any breast milk you might leak. The goal of the pads is to prevent leaks from staining your shirt - announcing to the world in a rather embarrassing way that you are nursing. Nursing ...

Pros: don't leak, thin
Cons: does not keep skin dry, very large, individually wrapped is a hassle, crinkly, not discreet
After my son was born, I quickly had to think about something I had completely overlooked- nursing pads. This breastfeeding stuff could be quite messy if you aren't prepared so I ventured to Target and discovered a whole bunch of different nursing pads. ...

Pros: everything they are supposed to be and more

by Dionne25 Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Nov 03 '07
Pros: Okay design.
Cons: Non-absorbent, didn't stay in place, individual packaging, too much work for a little comfort.

These are the best pads money can buy!

by daffnie , Oct 26 '02
Pros: Provides everything desired of a nursing pad
Cons: The individual wrappers are kind of a nuisance if you're in a hurry
I highly recommend Lansinoh disposable nursing pads above other options. Why is that, you ask. Let me tell you. There’s a story behind my logic. Understand that there can be no good without evil, so please be patient as I describe the Other pads...

These pads are worth every penny!

by jenw222 , Mar 29 '04
Pros: Contoured, special center keeps moisture away from skin, very absorbent
Cons: More expensive than other disposables, individual wrapping is too much extra plastic
First off, I can say that these pads have really saved me. As a full-time working mom who pumps three times a day, I need a pad that can hold up to the rigors of running around, sitting through meetings and just living from day to day. I first started ...

Nursing pads

by spottylover , Nov 27 '02
Pros: Contoured for a natural fit, each one is individually wrapped
Cons: Bulky and scratchy
I knew I didn't want to use the washable nursing pads, so I tried the Lansinoh Disposable Nursing Pads.

Lansinoh advertises these as the most absorbent pad available. I cannot confirm this, as I have not experienced a major amount of leakage....

Ladies love Lansinoh

by thesynergizer , Apr 19 '07
Pros: Comfortable, absorbent, convenient, easy to use.
Cons: Not sold everywhere and expensive.
Before my son was born, I had no idea what nursing pads were. I didn't know I'd need them, and I certainly didn't know what kind to get once I discovered that I did need them. (I woke up soaked and for just a minute, I actually thought I'd wet the bed!) ...
