La Colonial is a very unique restaurant with EXCELLENT food. I must admist that I was a bit apprehensive about dining at a vietnamese restaurant, but it was all in vain...the food was fabulous and I would certainly go back.
There were a few problems...

I have been going here for years and. It's all about the food. You may or may not get good service, depending on who your waiter is. The bar upstairs is lovely for a pre-dinner drink. The decor and ambiance of both upstairs and downstairs is wonderful. You really feel transported from the hustle and bustle of the city.
