Pros: Even heating, holds temperature, is absolutely beautiful to look at.
Cons: Heavy, and the knob on the lid sometimes needs to be tightened.

Summary: I had coveted a Le Creuset oven for years. I bought one a few years ago, a two-quart, at one of those "try me" promotional events. It was a lovely little pot, but I found that it was too small for many of the things I love to cook, like chili or soup. I ... read more

    Pros: See review.
    Cons: See review.

    Cons: Very spendy, very heavy

Summary: Okay, I really love to cook and have never had my own Dutch Oven. At least, not a REAL Dutch Oven. I hinted to my husband (pretty much told him what to get, where and what color) that I wanted one for Valentine's Days. Now I know that this does not ... read more

Pros: Healthy nonreactive enamel. Beautiful to look at. Holds heat well.
Cons: Expensive, can be damaged, heavy.

Summary: There is often one pot in the kitchen that never leaves the stove. In our case, the Le Creuset pots stay out, looking decorative and producing most of what we eat that isn't grilled or baked. I've liked Le Creuset ware since grad school (for some ... read more
