Pros: The color is beautiful. The fold over handle is a good feature for cleaning. Cons: Enamel coated steel item, it chips. The whistle does not work The Lid's too tight.
Summary: I paid a premium price for a Non Premium product because the Le Creuset name has a reputation for making premium cookware. It's very diappointing to have to research even premium named products to discover if it's quality or not. Look at

Summary: We bought a larger version of this tea kettle, with the same style whistler only 2 weeks ago. Tonight, I tried to make a pot of tea and forgot that the water was on the stove. The tea kettle didn't whistle and I didn't realize anything was wrong until

Pros: Classic design. Cons: Enamel inside chips easily, rusts quickly.
Summary: I am very surprised at the poor quality of this teakettle, especially given the superior quality of other Le Creuset cookware. The whistle has never worked well, and it was only on the 3rd replacement that any noise came out of it. The enamel inside s
