I purchased this toy because my daughter was pretty much failing in school. I was interested in something that would help her with reading skills in addition to reinforcing what the teacher was teaching everyday. My daughter was diagnosed as ADD and for...

Pros: Fun and interactive for children. Lots of different activities to keep a child interested. Cons: If the pen isn't in just right the pad is difficult to close.
For Christmas this year, my daughter received a lot of different presents. I tend to prefer educational things, so I was pleased to see that she received the LeapFrog LeapPad as a gift this past Christmas.
This product is just great!...

Pros: Keeps my six year old daughter interested in reading. Cons: The books can get expensive at $15.00 each.
I bought this for my daughter's sixth birthday last July. She really enjoyed it then, but since I only bought her 3 books to go along with it, she lost interest after a few months. I have since, purchased more books and she loves to play with the Leap...

Pros: Convenient, take-along anywhere, upward education, fun for the kids Cons: Sound is a little hard to understand
How many toys out there can help a child sound out a word, learn to make the "th" sound, teach them to play music, play matching, read to them, and with different sounds and levels? Sound like a good teacher you know? Well, it's here in the Leappad....

We bought this for our then 3 year old son, and he's now 4 and it's still one of his favorite "toys". It took him only about 30 minutes to master all the movements of the stylus and what all the figures and shapes meant for the progress of the book. We...
