Doesn't the name "Leatherman" harken back to some foggy old yesteryear type company?  Sure they make great, high quality multitools, heck they just about invented the category of the Frankenstein combination of pliers and pocket knives, besides the ...

Pros: Neat design, carabiner clip.
Cons: Pliers snapped (solid steel failed) while loosening a bolt with them.

This is a nice multitool, but in my opinion emphasizes slick design over functionality. 

I put it through exceptionally light usage in the past two months I owned it, and the pliers broke when I was using them to loosen a bolt.  I was not ever over-exerting.  It was a clean break from the pivot of the pliers to the action end of the pliers.

Luckily, LL Bean accepts returns without fail, without question.  I got my money back and put it to something else. 

I would not be very happy if this were a survival situation and the pliers broke. 

My advice: count on something more substantial, unless you just want this toy for show.
