Pros: No shortage of peat and smoke Cons: Too dilute, tastes watered-down
Summary: I really wanted to like this whisky, and I have to say that I'm more than a little disappointed. It's not bad, not at all, but it would be much better at a higher ABV. At 40% it's just too dilute and brings to mind a Laphroaig that has been 'drowned'. ... read more

Pros: peaty, oily, long finish Cons: Little smoke, and rather expensive to drink regularly

Pros: Excellent peaty flavor. Cons: No cons; but I personally prefer Ardbeg, Lagavulin, Laphroaig and Talisker.
Summary: I have tried one bottle of this whiskey, and find it to be of excellent quality and taste. Diluting its peaty flavor with ice or water is a sin, is in poor taste, and results in poor taste. I would rate Ledaig slightly behind Ardbeg, Lagavulin,
