Pros: YUM YUM GIMMIE SUM Cons: No Idea when I'll be going again
Legal Seafoods, a restaurant I was sadly unaware of for many years, is superb.
It all started one dark and not very stormy night, with tickets to the premiere of Austin Powers 2, The Spy Who Shagged Me. Dinner needed to be done prior to the...
Pros: Large portions, great service, half bottles of wine, great selection. Cons: Small dessert menu, side items need a little work.
Legal Seafoods, a restaurant I had always wanted to go to because my ex-husband was against going to chains, was surprisingly scrumptious! Not the best seafood you can find in Massachusetts, but a lot better than what I was expecting. Appetizers ...
Pros: Delicious food, good service, food prepared to customer's specifications, many locations Cons: None that I can think of
Legal Seafoods is a seafood chain restaurant that is concentrated in the Boston area. Usually I am not too partial to chains, but I have been to several Legal Seafoods Locations and always have delicious food, good service, and an overall enjoyable...
Pros: Best seafood ever Cons: Service could be better
I lived in New England for most of my life, until recently when I moved to New Jersey. We went to Boston last summer to visit a friend of ours, and while we were there, we went to Legal Seafood for dinner.
Pros: Excellent quality seafood Cons: Excellent quality seafood at a price
My wife and I went to Boston this past February and one of our 'routine' stops when we're there is to go to Legals. There are about seven or eight in the Boston area, with single restaurants scattered at New York, Florida, New Hampshire, and a few other...
Pros: Good food, harbor location is great Cons: crowded, noisy, not cheap!
It was Saturday night in Boston. We were walking past the old customs house (now a Marriott) and decided to stop in and ask directions to Legal Seafood. Even though we were not guests, the concierge gladly gave us directions and said " do you have...
Pros: Possibly the best Ive had! Cons: Service was slow and drinks were not refilled. The wait to eat was insane.
My friend in Boston area took em for Crab one night since we are both huge seafood fans, and our husbands are not. She took me to Legal. The atmosphere was cool and sunny, with big windows. The wait to be seated was incredible. it was over an hour on...
Pros: Incedible seafood at a reasonable price! Cons: If you miss it, you've missed the BEST seafood in Boston!
Legal Seafoods has been a Boston tradition for over 100 years! A visit to Boston is not complete without a visit to one of Legal's now many locations. Legal Seafoods serves up Boston's best seafood without the tourist pricing you find at other eateries...
Pros: Freshness, Wide selection of Raw Bar, Great Bloody Mary's Cons: Expensive food and parking
We absolutely loved this Legal Seafood location. As frequent customers to the Legal Seafood chain we were very excited when this particular restaurant moved from their address in the Statler Building to their current residence at the former Kyoto...
Pros: clam chowder, great fish, service Cons: if you don't like fish, don't come here!
I keep on coming back, again and again, to Legal Seafoods. They never disappoint. Somehow, the atmosphere is like coming home, even if it's a bit noisy.
Don't miss the clam chowder- it's full of clams and for the record, is the best Clam...
Pros: Wonderful fresh Seafood! Cons: Couldn't think of any cons,
We had a conference in Boston a couple of years ago and dined here.
Scale of (one to ten).
Service quality: very good, (8)
Waiter was there to take the drink order soon after we had been seated.
He did not badger us, and food was...
Pros: Great food, Great service huge portions Cons: none
I had one of my best meals in Boston when I ate here. I ate at Legal my first night in Boston and I compared all other restaurants to this establishment. The continued to bring out plates of fresh bread and butter. They made us feel like we were at...
Pros: You will always get a table if you are prepared to wait Cons: Good but not great food; long lines
I have been to every Legal Sea Food restaurant in the Boston area because they are a reliable alternative if you need a place toe at and don't have a reservation. This is definitely a chain that is resting on its laurels. The food is good but quite uninspired. Given the hype, I would have expected better preparation and more inventive dishes.
Pros: Great Desserts Cons: everything else was Bad
Took a group of eight for dinner in Burlington Location, Low ceilings dark dreary atmosphere and claustrophobic. They screwed up the orders, food quality and service were unusually Bad, cooked wrong, cold, not what was ordered. The service was just Bad and not attentive, despite our 2 week notice for reservation. We will Never dine there again. Food presentation Blase. This location is very poorly managed, always crowded, no waiting area, disorganized. Honestly I'd rather stay home.
