The LDP-200 is an overall cheap player that has its uses

by yusakugo Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 10, Jul 27 '05
Pros: Average $35 without card. You can insert any size SD card. Above average sound
Cons: Little bulky, poor navigation especially with large SD cards. Feels a bit cheap. Limited features.
The LDP-200 is Lexar's latest entry into affordable music players. For about $40 I got a LDP-200 without any SD card bundled in the package. For someone who has so many MP3 players already, why the heck did I buy this one?! Well... I have a ton of ...

One for the Beginners

by flash125 , Jul 21 '05
Pros: Easy to use, real portable
Cons: Runs of AAA's, not much memory
Intro In choosing the correct mp3 player for yourself you must first look at what your needs are in an mp3 player. This is a great mp3 player for putting about 50 songs on it and then throwing it into your pocket. I am a student and I love to sit in ...

Cheap player that's incredibly easy to use...

by genesyxx , Aug 08 '05
Pros: Drag-and drop, simplicity, battery life, nice red/silver mix.
Cons: Some batteries work well than others, but no real problem.
I have had this player (Lexar Media Player w/o SD card) for about two months now. I bought the model without cards because I have some leftover from my Panasonic SVAV20 camcorder (a review is available). Let me just say that this player is way too ...

No playlist and 40 folder limit

by kevtown , Mar 31 '06
Pros: Cheap, Small, Simple
Cons: 40 folder and 130 files/folder limit.
In theory it's a good value. Cheap, small, simple. For the price you can forgive that it doesn't include features like playlists, and doesn't resume tracks where you left off. What is not forgivable are the MAJOR undisclosed limitations of the file ...

It's cheap and not worth every penny...

by someguy123 , Nov 16 '05
Pros: Cheap, small.
Cons: Frequently won't find files, and shuts itself off when it shouldn't. Barely usable.
I wonder if the other reviewers of this product actually used it. This thing sucks. First when you turn it on it forces you to wait something like 10 seconds staring at the Lexar logo. Then some percentage of the time it just turns itself back off. ...

problem with sorting, and DRM

by crippie , Sep 22 '05
Pros: simple & cheap
Cons: sorting problem for audiobook. DRM does not work
The other reviews have covered the major aspects of this mp3 player. Here, I'll only try to raise awareness to the issue of sorting, and the problem with DRM files. . . . . . . . . . . . 1. Sorting: When you open a directory, the files are loaded ...
