Pros: THE BEST NO QUESTIONS Cons: I preferred the older white formula, it applied easier. All and all this is irrelevant.
I originally started using liquid glass after it was recommended by the guy who painted my 67 Mustang convertible. At the time it was very difficult to find but I found it at a local auto paint store. I begrudgingly shelled out 28 dollars for the product ...
Pros: Outstanding shine/protection, Multiple uses, Very easy to use Cons: Expensive
I love a clean, shiny car. In my opinion, very few things make a bolder statement than a car coming down the road that sparkles like 1 carat diamonds. I have tried many products that claim to offer long lasting protection, easy use, and a deep gloss ...
Pros: Mirror like shine, long lasting, easy to apply, one bottle goes a long way. Cons: None
I started using liquid glass about a year ago, about 3 months after buying a new car. Originally I was using carnuba wax, but started looking for something better as the wax was giving me swirl marks and is difficult to remove from the vinyl and rubber ...
Liquid Glass has been the ONLY polished I’ve used on my cars since I bought my first Honda CRX back in 1985. I came across an ad for this polish in Car and Driver Magazine. In 1985 this product was very hard to find; only one auto store in Indianapolis...
Pros: Unbeatable, hard to keep secret Cons: poor prep ruins everything
PREVENTED $1500 IN DAMAGE !! I have used Liquid Glass for over 20 years. DO PREP WORK FIRST BEFORE USING IT. Believe me it is hands down, the best regular use wax/polish ever made. I say that because you have to be cautious. I saw another newsgroup ...
Pros: Fantastic show-car caliber shine Cons: Labor intensive to use properly
I bought this product because it's not a wax, it's an acrylic finish.
Acrylic does a few things very well:
Acrylic is usually durable.
Acrylic is most often clear, optically speaking.
Acrylic fills in scratches, chips and...
Pros: Ultimate deep gloss, many uses, easy to apply Cons: Long time to "cure"
I've been using Liquid glass for over 8 years on my cars and despite their age, STILL get compliments that they look brand new. I like my cars and I want them to look the best possible- OK, so I obsess over them occasionally...well frequently.
"Liquid Glass" was recommended to me by a friend of mine who has his own car care business. This friend of mine swears by this product, and religiously uses on all of his clients' vehicles. He buys it in gallon quantities from the...
Pros: Best polish on the market period! Cons: Initial price, not a product for someone who wants a "quick wax job"
I have begun using Liquid Glass since Spring '02 on the recomendation of a friend. Initially I was put off by the $18 price at Autozone, but I soon discovered it worth. Besides being the best product money can buy, a little goes a long ways. One...
Pros: Easier than waxing with a better result. Cons: Can be difficult to find. More costly than most.

Pros: FANTASTIC, lives up to the name to a T, Liquid Glass. Cons: I am just now finding this product!!!
I am a clean car fanatic, I wash my car 2 X's a week and wax and/or polish on the average of 3Xs a month. I have used some of the "latest" synthetic waxes by the TOP recognized names in car care. I live in Florida, although many of the products I used ...

Just buy some! Cons: Price (I guess, but WELL worth it)
Thats all!

I have used Liquid Glass for six years now and would not use anything else. My brother told me about it and I about fell over at the price, approximately. $16 back then. I tried it anyway, and I have since told several friends about it and those...
Pros: Very durable, long lasting protection
Ease of use
Cons: Price
hard to do more than 1 coat with a 4 hour curing time
I have been using various car waxes and polishes for the last 17 years now. My dad even longer. When I was 16 I went through a spell where I waxed my car almost once a week, and tried more than a dozen different waxes. My dad had this full sized van. ...
Pros: Outstanding shine, and the durability is almost unbelievable! Relatively easy to apply. Cons: Cost- but worth every penny. Not easy to obtain.
I've been using Liquid Glass for at least two years now and it is truly the best stuff for my 1995 Honda Civic that I've ever used. This polish will last for several months, even in Pacific Northwest USA rain-laden climates such as where I live. ...
Pros: Easy application, easy removal, high protection level, hi-gloss/supershine/smoothness Cons: No real cons. The price is high, but well worth it.
I baby my car....and I researched this product and read the reviews and felt confident in buying it. When I first used it, I was very pleased to see how easy the application was. I did it in small sections, it dries to a haze, then wiped it off with...
Pros: I hear Liquid Glass is good. Nu Finish is the easiest finish I've ever used. Cons: Expensive, I don't see Liquid Glass as being any better than other polish.
I've tried quite a few car polishes and I don't see enough difference to justify buying the very expensive ones like Liquid Glass. Meguiar's products are fine. The best I've used though is Nu Finish. It goes on easy and comes off easier than anything...
Pros: Smooth finish, Easy to remove, One step Cons: None yet

My boat is all the proof one needs! by reelies ,Jul 15 '05
Pros: Shine, Durability, Easy to Apply, Maintains/Increases Value of Property Cons: See "Larry"
I started using Liquid Glass back in '88 upon the recommendation of my brother who worked at a car dealership. It worked so well on my car that I decided to use it on a boat that I bought new in 1994. The boat has been run in nothing but saltwater for 11 years, and I even slide it up on the little islands in the intracoastal waterway. The hull still looks as good or even better than brand new boats that pull up beside me. We applied it to my neighbors boat and it increased his speed by 4 knots. The only person that I ever heard complain about it was my friend Larry who attempted to lean against my conversion van while we were chatting. My van was so slick that he fell and busted his tail on the ground. His response..."I hate that damn liquid glass"...as we all busted out laughing. I will use nothing else on my boat or vehicles...period!
Best polish I've used to date by jason43 ,Jun 30 '04
Pros: Fantastic looking deep shine, easy to apply/remove. Cons: Expensive($18 at Autozone), alot of work for the best results.
I've been using this for about a year and seriously doubt I will ever use anything else. It ads a deeper shine to my black finish than any other product I've used. Preparation is the key however. It does not remove grime, dirt, scratches, swirls etc. Before applying, I wash, clay bar, paint cleaner and use a scratch remover(ie Scratch-x). Just keep in mind, to get the full benefits, it does require alot of work. If you are looking for a quick easy wax, this isn't it. But if you want the best looking finish you can get and are willing to work for it, go with Liquid Glass.
Expensive but WELL worth it! by user19406 ,Aug 27 '04
Pros: Deepest shine I have ever found. Especially with a few coats. Cons: Expensive and harder to find but worth every penny
I have used nothing but Liquid Glass on my 6 year old car. To this day, I get endless compliments on the incredible shine. I have tried many others products over the years and find Liquid Glass to be worth the extra money. Nothing else seems to look as good. Extra coats of Liquid Glass seem to give a deeper shine. Whereas extra coats of others I have tried don't seem to improve the shine. Unlike any other brand that I know of, Liquid Glass recommends "baking" the car in the sun to cure it before applying a second coat.
Holds up in Chicago weather by otiscat95 ,Jul 06 '09
Pros: Lasts longer in bad weather. The others are a waste of time. Cons: Expensive, hard to find & more work to apply.
I've tried many of the others including Zymol, Meguires, carnaba, Nano-wax,etc.. & some look nice initially & then last about 2-3 months. Liquid Glass holds up way longer than anything else. It takes more elbow grease to polish it off, but it also cleans the finish more than the others.
Pros: Easy on, easy off, beautiful finish. Cons: OK, so it costs a little more, worth every penny!
I believe I have used nearly every wax and car finish product made over the last 30 years. Literally 100s of products. I have shelves of products I have ordered from all over the country. And for my money, there is no comparison to Liquid Glass. It simply is the best. It is so easy to keep a clean car, as the road grime and dirt simply rinses off. My 1986 300Z looks almost new.
Pros: Easy to use and EXCELLENT results! Cons: None
Easy to use and a genuinely supreme result! My car is 14 years old, yet after using Liquid Glass, it still looks like it just rolled off the assembly line. I've tried many waxes and polishes in the past, but over time the finish gets dull and needs reapplication over and over. But, this stuff is really different...it seems the more you use it, the better the car looks! Costs a little more, but man is it worth it!
Pros: Gets rid of the God Forsaken Spider Scratches (fine line ones) Cons: Nothing
Basically i was skeptical, it was expensive and i really wanted to try some. All i wanted to do was get rid of those fine, spider web scratches. Low and Behold, this is the only product i have ever used that actually did just that. You do need to use some muscle to work the product in but honestly, its worth it. Meguiars Gold Class is 2nd to this product, but to be honest its worth the money and i love it.
Pros: Amazing deep shine. Easy to use. Long lasting shine! Cons: I can't find a "con." It is a great product!
I bought a 1983 Datsun 280ZX without much shine. I tried several waxes and got limited results. After some Web research, I first used Mothers California Gold Clay Bar to remove surface bumps and then tried the Glass Wax. The stuff is just incredible. I first applied the pre-cleaner, as they recommend and then applied a thin layer of Glass Wax and buffed it off with a towel. Since it needs to cure for a minimum of four hours, I waited until the following evening to apply another coat. The shine is very deep and the finish is a real "head turner." My 21 year old ZX now looks brand new. I have since put several more thin coats on the hood, roof and rear hatch.
I have been detailing cars for 30 years. I have now thrown away all of my old waxes and polishes. Glass Wax is the only product I will buy. I found the Glass Wax at Pep Boys for $17. For the results I obtained, the price was very reasonable!
Used it once and threw it away by higheriq ,May 08 '06
Pros: Can be applied in sun Cons: Removes paint
I used Liquid Glass on a three month old red Miata. After making several passes in the removal stage, I noticed red residue on my white cotton terry towel. the only thing this could possibly have been was the paint being removed from my three month old car. I continued removing the Liquid Glass and by the time I was finished, there was even more red residue on the towel. The product was applied according to the directions. A friend tried it on his car - same problem (paint removal). He returned the Liquid Glass to me and I threw it away and swore never to buy it again (and switched back to MeGuiar's).
when i was 15 i bought my first car and i met a old timer who owned a body shop in my town for over 50 years his cars looked like no others i ask him what he used to keep his cars so perfect he said liquid glass i havent ever used anything else my cars, boats, motorhome look like they just rolled out of the factory even my 91 firebird now people ask me what i use and i tell them liquid glass and to make sure to put min 3 coats on over a 3 week period and let it sit in the sun to bake on and people will start asking you the secret
Pros: goes on easy and comes off easy. Cons: no cons. the best stuff on the market next to mothers pure carnauba paste wax.
ive used liquid glass now for six months. before that i used mothers pure carnauba paste wax which costs the same as the liquid glass. i always thought mothers was the best out there untill i tried the liquid glass, which in my mind is now number one. i wish consumer reports would do a test on these two products. i use the liquid glass on my service van as well, i work for the largest oil company in new jersey. all the guys i work with think im nuts for waxing my work van once a month. but it looks new and the customers always give me nice comments on how great my work van looks. keep up the great work at liquid galss thanks again for a great product. joe also known as {petroman}.
It doesn't get any better than this!!! We have used this product for over twenty years and we swear by it, easy to apply, easy off, and it has so many uses!! Anybody thats never tried it has to try this stuff. Wev'e tried all the others and gone right back to Liquid-Glass!! A few months ago we ordered the whole Liquid-Glass kit from the manufacturer, excellent stuff, car wash, pre-cleaner, leather cleaner. We use it on our two trucks and our trailer, we are constantly receiving compliments on how beautiful everything looks. We highly recommend this to everyone!!
