Pros: Private, cute, and original design. Cons: Poorly made. Flimsy. Cat's shy away from it.
Right off the bat, I had fits and hiss fights with my cat. He was not impressed at all. And to top that off, neither am I. You would be better off placing a brown paper bag over your litter pan.
The Littermaid automated litter box is one of those products that you are thankful for even days a week. My wife wanted to improve upon the success of the Littermaid by buying the Privacy Tent to give her cats a little ‘me" time; I ...
Pros: Nicer smelling cat room. Cons: More work to clean, more dissatisfied cats.
We have four (!!) cats, so there's two boxes I get to clean every day. Don't judge me on the cats, two were strays we couldn't find homes for. I got the first cat tent by saving up points from Fresh Step cat litter. I thought the cats liked it. It ...
Pros: None: The product was non-functional. Cons: Very poorly made. Frame too big for tent. Flimsy. Zipper made of too soft metal.
I've had LitterMaids since they first came out, and had the very first LitterMaid privacy (and litter containing) tent. That tent has finally bit the dust - the fabric had been washed so many times that it was getting holes in the fabric. So I bought a ...
Pros: The roof is stable and private and pretty Cons: It is expensive and hard to find
I am deeply ashamed for after owning feline cats for close to 10 human years, I had no idea that they required privacy. Imagine how my beloved feline must feel when I sit in the blue wicker rocking chair in the laundry room sipping cardamon-infused vodka...
Pros: Cats liked it fine. They treated it like a play toy though, kinda gross! Cons: Hard to enter, hard to clean, too much $$, just not worth it!
We bought both the Litter Maid box (I'll write a review of that later--it was a huge mistake!) and the tent. My cats seemed to like the box better after the addition of the tent, but overall, it was a mistake to buy the tent. I'm not going to repeat ...
Pros: It does hide the litter box Cons: It's made of cheap plastic and costs way too much!
All I can really say is don't buy this. It's an even bigger waste of money than the LitterMaid that it's made to go over. It's made of cheap plastic that broke before we could even put the whole thing together, and the tent was way too small for the ...
Pros: Sturdy Construction, Easy Assembly, Cats were fine with it, "less than an eyesore" Cons: My dog jumped on top of mine & broke it!
I had "built" my own such shelter before I discovered the Litter Maid Privacy Tent. Mine was ugly, and appeared homemade, and I was displeased all around.
Then I discovered the Litter Maid tent. My cats took to it right away, and appreciated the...
Pros: Easy set up. Cons: Cheap construction. Lasted less than 30 seconds in use.
This is a useless piece of cheap vinyl and plastic crap, *UNLESS* you can put this under a shelf or a sink or something. If you can't put this directly under something so your kitties can't jump on top of it, skip it.
Pros: It hides the litter box Cons: But the tent is not that great looking either
The frame that holds this tent up, broke the day I bought it on the top so it sagged a bit. I used it anyway for about a year. I like to avoid cleaning the litter box, so sometimes the compartment that holds the soiled litter would spill out. Once the poop gets in the tent, the frame of the tent makes it hard to get the poop out by trapping it in at the bottom. Plus I think tents and covers seem to trap and accentuate the smell.
This tent is impossible to clean, where as a hard cover can be popped off and wiped down.
Pros: I didn't pay for this crap. Cons: Inventor should be executed, turn into a cat next life to use this crap.
Who ever invented this tent, must not have a cat him or herself. It was a humungous, ugly, cheap-looking piece of crap. The opening was too small to clean the litter throughly. It is even harder to clean the litter that get on to the bottom of the tent.
The Littermaid Cat Privacy Tent fits perfectly over any Littermaid self-cleaning cat box and other litter boxes. It is encloses the litter box on all...More at ThePetStoreOnline.com
