My son is 19 months and has been getting his legs caught in his crib bars and climbing out. So I figured it was time for a bed. Didn't want to get a twin size bed because then my baby would really be a baby anymore so I decided on a toddler bed. Loved the wood ones but there isn't much protection from him falling out. My older son has the twin race car so I thought it would be cute to get mini one! He has fallen out every night 5-6 times!! He moves around a lot and there is nothing on the sides to hold him in the bed. Therefor my sleep is interrupted every time he falls out!! I called the company to see what they had to say and she suggested I now go buy bed rails. Another cost...the rep said that her son used to fall out so she would put a comforter next to the bed. They need to reconstruct their design I think!!! DO NOT BUY THIS BED!!!

Pros: Fun design and super light, no breaking your back when it's time for a change.
Cons: It is quite expensive.

My son absolutely loves his new "car bed". And it's great for mommy too! It is easy to move and very durable.It takes a crib size mattress so you don't need to go out and buy a new mattress for a while, age limit is for up to 5 years.

I didn't buy it new. I got it at a local resale shop. I couldn't afford a new one at the time. But even though this bed was used, you'd never know it. It held up like all the other Little Tykes products and looks great. My son is now four years old and still sleeping in it and will probably be in it for another year. Its easy to move as its light so vacuuming under and behind it is not an issue. Plus, there is not place for toys and junk to get pushed underneath the bed. I recommend this bed.

Cons: Hit head on hard sides all night.

My son loved the looks(obviously) but had more fun playing in it then sleeping. He was 2 1/2 years old and just kept falling out or banging his head while he slept on the hard plastic sides. So like I said good toy, not bed.

We bought this bed at a second hand store for my now 3 year old son when he was just about 1 1/2. He went from his crib into this bed. He loves this bed. He will say "i want to sleep in my car bed " I like it b/c it seems to hold up pretty well. It helps the room come together as a little boys room, and is just fun.

Pros: Great design, fun for kids.
Cons: Too small.

I got this bed knowing that my son would love to sleep in it because it looks like a car. It was very easy to transition him from a crib to this bed because he liked it so much. But now he is just 3 1/2 and he is already outgrowing the bed. It's really just not big enough. Other than that it is a great bed.
