We got this gift for our 3 year old. However, it is proven to be a wonderful gift for her and her 1 year old sister. They both absolutely love this!!!! It is just perfect for wonderful pretend play. I love the mirror on the back and it has hooks for jewelery and nooks for shoes and what not. The voice is really clear and says short easy to understand phrases. The blow dryer and finger nail polishes are favorites for us. The vanity seat is a nice size for them, but does topple easy. It is not huge and fits in a corner nicely. Light enough that they can even pull it away from the corner for play time. It takes a lot of batteries (6AA). It shuts off automatically if not played with for a certain time.
