Pros: Slow, even heating properties. Wears like...iron and inexpensive.
Cons: Rusts and sticks if not properly seasoned. Heavy.
Summary: Did your Grandma have a set of trusty Lodge cast iron skillets? With her frying pans blackened to perfection, homey dishes like crispy fried chicken, smothered pork chops and chili mac never seemed to stick.
