Pros: Portability, Ease of use, Rugged Construction, Storage Capacity and Expansion, Cons: Power Save Mode, Indoor Exposure, Slow Software, Flimsy Battery Door, Non-Continuous Video Shooting,
I was annoyed to learn Logitech didn't update their drivers on their old line of webcams to support current OS platforms. Since my computer is on the XP platform and my good ol' Logitech WebCam Pro wouldn't run on XP, I had no choice but to look for...
Pros: Amazing features for the price Cons: "Slow," annoying interface
Considering how cheap and how flexible this camera is, the quality you get is excellent. There are annoying things about it, but even so, it's great, I use it a lot and I'm happy I got it.
You can put a 128M card in this camera for another...
Pros: Can be used as webcam for videoconferencing, or carried around to take regular pictures Cons: Sub-par picture quality, interface needs work, no zoom
I have gotten much use out of my ClickSmart 510. I've done it all: had a videoconference with frien ...
Pros: easy to use, small and convinient, records video with sound in two different resolutions Cons: too pricy, biggest resolution is horrible quality & only holds so many pictures
i really wouldnt bash this camera, because it does have alot to offer. however, for the price logitech wants for it, you could get something better. its easy to use, uses a smartmedia card (it comes with an 8mb), i suppose you could always upgrade it eh?...
Great Web cam and a Digital Camera!!! by sriramv ,Nov 19 '03
Pros: Built-in Mic, Easy Download of photos to PC,Sleek design Cons: No Zoom.
I was mainly looking for a Web Cam that would let me have a decent video chat. The Web cams I previously had was very poor if no light was there.
I found that this Logitech Click Smart 510 was adjusting automatically to different light situations and the Video quality was pretty good. Not to mention, it made the video chat easy by including a microphone in the unit.
Setup and loading the drivers was a breeze. The digital camera has 1.3 Megapixel resolution. Its great for sending photos through email. It worked great for me.
try the logitech clicksmart 510.good pictures for a cheap price. by april_rose ,Feb 07 '04
Pros: large memory.shoots good pictures in bright lights. switches from webcam into digicam. Cons: doesnt produce good pictures when its dark. you cant review photos you shot.
all in all, i can say that you are getting your money's worth from the two in one logitech clicksmart 510. it is not possible to achieve high results for something so cheap so all the features that this camera boasts is well worth your money.
Pictures are grainy and very poor quality. Pictures come out dark no matter what light. Logitech tech support No help in resolving issues of poor camera performance. Basically was a big waste of money
It is lovely to have... by nitin_dt3000 ,Jan 16 '03
It is lovely to have such a versatile camera in market. It is one of the many dual cams available in the market, but the very features of it makes it a face in the crowd. It quality of pictures is of higher standard. The only problem is its availability in India, which I am sure the company will look into very shortly.
