Pros: Key layout, response, software, customization options, hotkeys, media keys Cons: Takes up a lot of space, emits interference
I bought this keyboard off eBay for a very reasonable price, and I am very happy with my purchase. I bought this board as a replacement for my laptop keyboard which was getting worn up by intensive gaming. I knew that I wanted some quality, hence my ...

Unexciting world of the Lefty
by hondo_sinclair ,Mar 25 '07
Pros: The Media Buttons are placed correctly. Nice Lefty/Righty Mouse. Price was very agreeable. Cons: Battery life is pathetic!
I purchased this keyboard/mouse combo about 9 months ago. Being left handed and being in the market for a new keyboard / mouse can be taxing to sat the least. You are rather limited in what is available from reputable manufacturers. I'm not a huge gamer and not some multimedia wiz. I'm just the average guy who surfs a bit at night and does various work programs during the day. I spend about 10 hours a week on my home computer and the low battery indicator begins to flash at the 30 hour mark! That's incredible. The indicator leaves a lot to be desired. All you get is a flash warning. There needs to be some gauge like that of a fuel tank on a car.
There are so many exciting combos out there and see one seemed to be priced right and had a usable mouse. They both work well and the lay out of the keyboard makes sense to me and contains the right amount of additional buttons without going overboard. But I'm far from contented.

Worst battery life EVER
by phereless ,Feb 05 '08
Pros: Decent looking, lower price. Cons: Pathetic battery life overrides any positives.
We purchased about 5 of these for our office - without looking at any reviews or anything. Out of the 5, there have been issues with 3 of them. 2 of the mice have completely died within about 2 months, they do not respond at all anymore. The third one can not remember any of the custom settings.
On all of them, the mouse battery life is absolutely pathetic. I've had wireless mice before and the batteries were switched once every 6 months or so. On all of these mice, the batteries only last a couple of weeks before you start getting 'critical battery' notifications - which will not go away even when you put fresh batteries in until you reboot the computer.
