Pros: another great L'Oreal Kids product that does what it claims Cons: none
It wont be long before SoccerGirl becomes SwimmerGirl, that is if the temperatures ever warm up enough around here to set up the pool. And when swimming season comes along, so does the dreaded green-haired monster. Chlorine wreaks havoc with hair, ...
Pros: Removes the chlorine smell and prevents the dulling green build-up Cons: Runny, thin shampoo
My oldest, 4 year old Bugs, has almost white blonde hair. She also loves to swim. Chlorine and towheads do not mix. When nursery school started again that meant she was swimming twice a week and I was concerned about her hair taking on that not so pretty ...
Pros: Works great for getting out the chlorine smell Cons: Can leave thick, wavy or long hair a bit tangled.
Since we live on the water, my kids have been swimming as long as they have walked! They also spend a great deal of time, year round in the pool. All of this swimming brings up what kind of shampoo to use? One of the gentlest - yet effective ones we have ...
Pros: nice scent, works well, inexpensive Cons: none
My daughter is a blonde and not just light blonde. More like white blonde during the Summer months. We found out the hard way last year when after swim lessons and hours at the pool my daughters hair turned lime green and we had to have a hair dresser ...
Pros: Cute bottle, great for kids, orange scent. Cons: Could be a little more moisturizing.

L'Oreal Kids Swim Shampoo--- No Green Here!! by beauti4you ,Jan 19 '05
Pros: Kudos to L'Oreal!! Wonderful product again. No GREEN!! Cons: Absolutely none!
This is the most fantastic "swim" shampoo. We starting using this when our boys started swimming lessons, on a recommendation from another mother. They are both blonde--- and their hair stays that way!! The chlorine absolutely has no "greening" effect on their hair. I'm blonde myself and I use this shampoo too-- works great for adult hair, unlike other adult shampoos claim to. Another great L'Oreal kids product!! This shampoo stays in the swim bag and goes to the beach as well. It's gentle for the youngest swimmers, yet also great for adults. Nice fragrance, not too "girly" and does a great job at leaving hair soft and manageable.
Pros: shine, fragrance, cleans chlorine from hair nicely, no tears Cons: It could increase the manageabillity slightly
The shampoo cleans very nicely. The pleasant fragrance made it a joy to use after swimming. It takes a tough shampoo to get all of that chlorine out of your hair after swimming, and this definitely gets the job done well! It's also safe for little ones because it's 'tear free.' It left my hair fairly manageable, clean, and shiny, and I reccomend kids to use it after going swimming.
Smells Good, but Still Green by hayallmom ,Jun 02 '05
Pros: Smells great, leaves their hair soft and silky. Cons: Doesn't seem to help with pool green hair.
We live in Arizona where the pools are always open. We've been using this daily for about 2 months on 7 & 9 year old girls. Their blond hair smells great, looks shiny and clean, is soft and silky, but still turns green.
I go through steps to get the green out (I won't say "chlorine" because many people say it is the copper in the water that makes hair green). Their hair gets blond, but a few days later is green again, despite daily use of the L'Oreal.
