Loreal Volume Shocking Mascara

Pros: Moisturizing base coat was good.
Cons: Second mascara coat, horrible! Pricey too.

I love dramatic mascara, so when I saw this one I was sure it was going to be great. Boy was I wrong! The first moisturizing base coat was good and went on smoothly, but the second coat was the clumpiest, most messy mascara I have ever used. I don't know whether it was the mascara or the weird brush you have to use to apply it with, but the end result was horrible. I thought maybe it was me, and practiced several times with putting it on, but it always turned out awful. I do not recommend this to anyone.

Pros: Great volume, length and stunning results quickly.
Cons: The applicator takes getting used to

Great product - I've been using it for years. I have had many people ask me what mascara I use, they love its look so much. It does take getting used to using the applicator, but the results are amazing, and fast I wouldn't use anything else. The waterproof version does not perform quite in quite the same way.
