Pros: flawless-skin-appearance, creamy, easy-to-carry, nice color selection, no settling in creases, longwearing, no touch-ups Cons: expensive, dries out easily
Man, this was going to be quite a night. I had spent over an hour getting ready. My makeup was perfectly applied and I felt great. The dress I had designed was exactly as I had hoped it would be. I felt on top of the world. As the evening wore on, ...
Before taking a trip back to Hawaii last summer I wanted to be prepared for the humidity and weather changes. As a kid in Hawaii the weather had no effect on my skin but now that I am older I notice that when I go back the weather tends to wreck havoc...
Pros: texture, price, blendability, smoothness, perfect for combination skin! Cons: colors run darker than in other MAC foundation formulas, sponge applicator
MAC prides itself on being a hip, contemporary line that markets products that can appeal to every person. It is for this reason that they currently have eight different foundation formulas (not including those that are exclusively sold in the PRO...
Pros: Great coverage, nice texture (cream to powder), flawless finish Cons: Expensive, wears off quickly, very heavy/mask like
Product Info and DescriptionMAC Studio Tech is a cream foundation that comes in the traditional black MAC plastic compact. The compact has two compartments; one for the foundaton itself that lifts up to reveal a neat holding spot for ...
Pros: great colors; looks great in different lights; smooth texture; convenient compact Cons: price! no SPF.
Studio Tech is unlike any other makeup I've ever tried. First off let me say what exactly it is - it is a compact cream foundation that offers much better coverage (at least in my opinion) than a powder, but is much less of a hassle than liquid formulas. ...
Pros: Very creamy, not dense like other cream foundations. Full coverage, doubles as a concealer. Cons: Contains oil (castor and vegetable). Bulky compact.
So often reviews don't explain the product, so I will: Studio Tech comes in a black, chubby compact with 2 compartments- The top is the creamy foundation, and the bottom is the sponge. There is a good-sized mirror underneath the top cover. Upon...
Pros: If your skin is "normal" and looking for quick touch-ups, this is probably okay. Cons: Drying, sheer coverage, cost.
This foundation was really not for me. I purchased it at the MAC counter, after describing my criteria for a "good" foundation, which is: one that is moisterizing, has long lasting wear, and full-medium coverage.
The MAC counter lady handed me Studio Tech foundation. After 2 days I found it to be: Drying, not long lasting in the least, and rather sheer, with little buildability.
Oh well. My search for a decent foundation continues......
Mac + Bare Minerals = WOW!!! by ProLifeMom ,Apr 20 '06
Pros: Wonderful coverage/finish. Stays on all day, stands up to humidity. Cons: None...pricey, but worth EVERY PENNY!
I think I have found the perfect face finish...well, for me, at least. I have been a Bare Minerals user for several years, but felt the coverage was just a bit more on the "bare" side than I wanted. I bought MAC Studio Tech Foundation on eBay as something to try. It was a nice foundation.
One day I decided to use the MAC foundation, and top it with Bare Minerals powder. Very nice results, I thought. I was surprised at the reaction I got: I work in a retail setting, and co-workers as well as total strangers were looking at my skin and saying, "you have the most gorgeous skin"! Not "gorgeous makeup"....but "gorgeous skin"! One lady even fished out paper and pen from her purse and wrote down what I told her I was using! The MAC/Bare Minerals combo is something I will be using from now on, daily. I love it, and it appears that everyone else thinks it's pretty, as well!
Great Product but not widely available around the world by pawsy2 ,Feb 28 '06
Pros: Good colour selection and appropriate for a acne prone skin Cons: Not available for online purchasing
Yep as the title suggests it is a great foundation.
I have an acne prone skin with lot of blemishes. Being dark in skin colour I had a tough time finding the right colour giving me a good coverage.
Then came MAC Studio Tech ...A BLESSING IN DISGUISE.
Just one problem...it is not available in my country and not available on line as well. I bought this product during my visit to New Zealand and it is almost over and absolutely no way of buying one one line.
Totally tech. A tri-system blend of water, emollients and powder. Looks solid, glides on as a soft, creamy emulsion. Provides a natural matte, powder-...More at Nordstrom
