Pros: A very soft smell that lingers through out the end of the day. Cons: The bottle isn't very feminine; almost looks like a mans cologne bottle. Also expensive.
When I first smelled this fragrance, in a magazine sample, I knew I just had to have it. There was something about the scent, very feminine, soft, and luxurious. My husband is very sensitive to perfumes that I have worn in the past but this ...

Pros: not overpowering Cons: none
I am one of those people who have to try the new perfumes when they are introduced.

I fall in love with myself each time I spell this scent on me
by bett1e ,Jan 31 '05
Pros: Smells delicious; scent lasts all day Cons: I can't think of anything
I use perfume inserts as drawer liners. One day, I put on a shirt that smelled delicious. I couldn't figure out where the scent came from so I started searching. I searched every drawer until I found an old Marc Jacobs insert. I had to have that perfume. Even though I was absolutely in love with Realm's Pherose, I cannot resist wearing this fragrance. The smell of fresh gardenias on your body is just too much to give up. I see myself wearing this fragrance for the rest of my life.

Marc Jacobs perfume very redolent of tuberose, not too powdery or overpowering slightly fresh.
by holidayhoo ,Dec 27 '04
Pros: I like the scent. Cons: None except like everything I wish it was cheaper..... or free! :)
This is a lovely perfume of very high scent quality. Does not smell like some cheap gardenia perfume from the dollar store. Scent is not overpowering and the floral scent is balanced by clean notes so that the perfume is not to powdery overpowering and noxiously floral. It is floral though. Some reviewers say it smells like gardenia and for the uneducated nose it does. But anyone who has smelled tuberose will knoww that THAT is what it smells like. I grow tuberose in my garden and the fragrance or smell is very similar. Almost exact. Tuberose is slightly "greener" than gardenia and a little fresher..... less powdery. This perfume smells predonminantly of tuberose but as I said mixed with other things so that the floral scent is not tooo overpowering and SOME strong florals (besides maybe something like muguet de bois) can be. I find most truly gardenia perfume offensive powdery and overpowering but this tuberose one is lovely. Highly reccomended one of my favorites.
