Pros: Smooth, great coverage Cons: None for me
Truth be told I never did put a lot of stock in concealers - I had yearly decided I needed to conceal my red patches I can get on my cheeks and the ocassional zit I still get. But every concealer I tried I hated for one reason or another, and so I...
Pros: Corrects skin color problems better than a regular concealer. Cons: May require experimenting on the best way to apply: mix, apply with finger, brush, etc.
My usual concealer usage consists of dabbing some cake concealer under my eyes if I didn't get enough sleep, or trying in vain to cover up a zit or some read blotchiness that has spread across my cheeks. I never really have much luck...it seems that in ...
Pros: texture, liquid makes blending a breeze, range of shades, stays put! Cons: creases a little, can wear thin
MAC overall has a great line of foundation and concealers. They have a great range of shades so most people can find a match fairly easily and they offer several different formulas (matte, satin, powder, creamy etc.) of each.
Pros: Blends Well; Good Coverage For Undereye Circles, Blemishes, Evening Out Skin Tone Cons: Nothing
Finally, a concealer that does it all...MAC Select Cover-Up conceals what you don't want to reveal, without making it obvious that you're trying too hard to conceal anything at all! ^^^What's inside the package?^^^ A liquidy concealer ...
Pros: Natural looking, not cakey Cons: Price maybe a problem for some people
Concealer always too cakey, too noticable. I came across MAC's Select cover-up concealer one day, and I contimplated buying it for a couple days and I am glad I did! It runs for $15.00 USD and can be bought at Maccosmetics.com or any MAC counter. ...
Pros: Blends in perfectly and one tube lasts a whole year Cons: None
I have slight discoloration around my nose and slight blemishes on my face so concealer is a daily must. That being said, I have tried just about all the brands from your neighborhood drugstore such as Maybelline, Revlon, Almay, etc. Although MAC ...
it covers well you definitely do not need alot, but its soo thick!! when i open my eyes after i put it on i see creases where i wouldnt usually see them.the only thing i really do like about it is...it has good coverage it makes my eyes brighter where i have dark circles.but bottom line its way too thick.
Select Cover-Up Green Colour Corrector by shannon99 ,Mar 18 '07
Pros: good coverage; great for covering ruddy skin Cons: can separate
I bought this product in an effort to hide some broken blood vessels that have appeared on my cheeks (I hate getting older!) Although a kind of puke-green shade, it glides on nicely and does an excellent job of masking those pesky little veins.
It can be thick, so use sparingly. It also has a tendency to settle in fine lines--not sure this would be a good product for very mature skin as a result.
I've also noticed that the product tends to separate over time and needs a good shake before application. This is somewhat difficult to achieve given that the product is in a tiny little tube, but the separation doesn't seem to affect product performance.
I'd rate this cover-up as superior to other types of concealers I've tried.
Liquid camouflage for the skin. Texture-free, virtually invisible. Comes in a tube. Blends in. Brightens and lightens dark areas, erases spots, evens-...More at Nordstrom
