I have owned a 750M for over a year. It works great in major metropolitan areas (New Orleans, Las Vegas, Phoenix), but maps are limited to major highways from Mobile to Tallahassee (unfortunately where I live). Make sure their maps provide adequate coverage in your local area before shelling out the $2,000. Maps have not been updated in over a year, and when I called Magellan to ask when the next update is planned, they were unable to give me a date.

I ordered mine about a month ago. Very precise device. Voice commands are very helpful. Display data manipulation is easy to learn - took me only 30 minutes to figure out how this GPS works. Make sure to buy 750M, not 750 NAV. The thing is that you have to install 750 NAV into the car professionaly and basically for good. 750M can be transfered from car to car in amatter of minutes and doesn't require professional installation. Great price too! Way better that Garmin Streepilot (Yes, I tested that too - requires maps downloading every time, a bit bulky, weak tech support.) Bottom Line: You will absolutely love Magellan 750M.
