Pros: Friendly Staff, Huge Rooms, Good Atmosphere, Great Pool. Excellent Location. Wheelchair Friendly. Cons: Problem at Check in with Reservation.
This hotel was a great find. Two blocks west of Broadway on W57th Street it was the ideal location for a wheelchair using theatre lover! All NYC busses are wheelchair accessible and 57th St is a major crosstown route. With busses stopping outside the...
Pros: Convenient, good service, relatively inexpensive. Good value. Cons: Overinflated shuttle service price.
This hotel is a good choice for those who want to be close, but not in the middle of the theater district and who want a good value for the money. The rooms were larger than we expected. Unlike many big city hotel rooms, there was an actual closet and ...
Pros: Fantastic value, midtown location, kid friendly, safe residential neighborhood, friendly staff, rooftop pool Cons: a little bit west in Manhattan, gets crowded
So you are coming to the big Apple. The prices are scary and the rooms are tiny. Worry no more. The Holiday Inn on west 57th street will satisfy your needs. This is a stylish well appointed clean and friendly NYC hotel that does not rip you off. The...
Good, clean, great locale, but no A/C! by astuemky ,Apr 26 '06
Pros: Clean; great service and staff; nice location Cons: No air conditioning!
This was a great hotel, great location, great service - but the one thing that stunned me is there is no AIR CONDITIONING! How can people even survive there in the summer? As it was, we luckily only had one hot day when we were there, and almost roasted alive... even on the days when it started to get cold outside, the inside was still hot and we had to keep the windows open.
Location, Location, RENOVATION! by tvlawyer ,May 07 '07
Pros: Location. Cons: Dingy room and common areas. greasy, overpriced breakfast. no AC.
I have stayed at this hotel on at least 5 previous occasions. THIS WAS THE LAST! Although the locations is ideal, the physical plant, guestrooms, common areas and restaurants are in DESPERATE need of renovation. The building has not had a makeover since the late 1980's. We suffered for three days without air conditioning. This hotel is a blemish upon the Holiday Inn name. The company should give this this franchisee, HI57 LLC, the boot!
