I purchased the Dining table, five chairs, two rocking chairs, sofa, and love seat in March 2002. I paid $833.00 total.
Although the manufacturer recommended...I never brought any of the pieces inside for the winter. I never removed the cushions and stored them. I never covered the furniture during the seasons.
We live in Indiana where our winters can have days that are below 10 degrees but then above 65 a few days later. I want the furniture out when it is nice.
The entire set has sat out on our veranda through snowy winters and hot humid summers and still looks new. The only blemish on the entire set is one tiny scratch on one chair arm that is smaller than an eraser head.
Every time someone new comes over they comment on how beautiful this furniture looks.
I couldn't be more pleased.

We purchased the Martha Stewart Victoria Collection with the round table, 5 chairs, umbrella and umbrella stand in March 2002. We live in a moderate climate in the LA area. At first we thought this set was very nice looking and the chairs are very comfy. However, it has not stood up over time. The furniture is rusted on the arms, the umbrella ripped in shreds, and two days ago the glass table top combusted into a thousand shards of glass all over our patio, garden, yard and toys. I have been calling Kmart Corp and JRA (manufacturer). I have written and faxed letters, with no response. We paid almost $600 for this set, and I warn everyone not to make the same mistake we did. I see this same set advertised in TV and in the newspaper. Buyer beware!

I just happened to fall upon this site. I was actually looking for a site that I could contact regarding the glass tabletop. After reading the reviews I discovered that I am not the only person who has had their tabletop shatter for no reason. This really tells me there is a problem with the top. I have not yet found how I can get the atop replaced, but it doesn't sound like Martha Stewart or K-Mart is going to help. I will never purchase another Martha Stewart product, and K-Mart has nothing to lose anyway because they are closing stores all over the country. Perhaps if they had better customer service and satisfaction their business would still be thriving.

Unfortunately I collected this set over two summers. The first year we bought the dinning table with 5 chairs, love seat, coffee table and extra chairs. The first year they looked great and the cushions had faded a bit, but still looked fairly decent since we had bought them at the end of the season. The next summer we purchased a couple of rocking chairs. I brought the set out of garage storage this year and I'm devistated!!! The cushions are brittle and faded - all the beauty and luster is gone. The paint is peeling, and rusting in spots. I put up the umbrella. One burst of wind and it ripped to shreds. I planned on having this set for a few more summers. It looks like garbage out on my patio now, and I'm humiliated to have my friends sit on it, and even more embarassed that I spent the money on this junk.
