Pros: Non-stinging formula that doesn't leave a greasy residue.
Attractive bottle design Cons: Cost. Not available in retail outlets.
I recently attended a holiday boutique at a neighbor's who sells jewelry. I knew a Mary Kay representative was going to be there but I swore to myself I wouldn't buy any of their products. However, little by little I found myself inching toward the ...
Pros: Cleans well, does not burn my eyes Cons: Cost
I use almost all Mary Kay products, although there are some out there that are getting me to try other brands :)! The good part of that is trying other things, the bad part is I am a Mary Kay consultant, so Mary Kay products are fairly cheap for me. My...
Pros: Removes makeup well, safe for sensitive eyes Cons: One more step to add to my nightly routine, expensive
A great product that I never realized I needed! * lol*
As many of my Epinions will attest to, I wear quite a bit of dark eye makeup not a lot of bright or dark or garishly colored shadow, but dark sable brown or black eyeliner and as...
Pros: Removes makeup quickly and easily (even off of kids!), pretty bottle Cons: Greasy, irritating to eyes, expensive, hard to acquire (must buy through Mary Kay agent)
I am a very lazy person. Well, in as much as a mother of two can be lazy! By the time I get my kids in bed and everything ready to go for the next day, the last thing I want to do is spend any extra time whatsoever taking off my makeup. But if I don't ...
Pros: Oil-free, doesn't irritate the skin or contacts, non-greasy feel Cons: Might not remove all traces of eye makeup, but removes 99.5%
Mary Kay Oil-Free Makeup Remover is a God-send to me! I love the fact that it takes off my eye makeup without irritating my eyes, and it doesn’t leave any sort of icky mess like an oil-based eye makeup remover would!Packaging Mary Kay ...
Pros: Doesn't irritate eyes, does a pretty good job with makeup removal Cons: Sometimes it seems to leave oil-like traces of itself (but rarely)
Yes, I used to sell Mary Kay but that was a year and a half ago. Still, there are a few products that I used myself that I still prefer over doing the whole skin-care-gamble thing and trying something new. One of these things happens to be the ...
Pros: Removes the hardes of makeup, including waterproof mascara Cons: Slight greasy residue. Can only buy through Mary Kay consultant
After a recent corneal tear I have to be especially careful about what I near my eyes for products. Especially removing make up which can sometimes be quite a tedious task. A few months back I was invited to a Mary Kay party thrown by one of my ...
Pros: Removes waterproof and non-waterproof eye makeup with ease. Cons: May be considered "oily" to some.
Because of my combination-oily skin, I usually have to wear long-wearing makeup such as lipstick and mascara. And for a while Clinique Take-The-Day-Off Makeup Remover was perhaps my all-time favorite makeup remover that pretty much took care of the job ...
Pros: No greasy residue, effective, can be used for other areas of the face. Cons: None. Buy it. You won't regret it.
Background: I am a 35 year old woman with very fair, combination skin. I wear full eye makeup (liner, mascara and eyeshadow). For some reason, eye makeup tends to "stain" under my eyes. Description of Product: First of all, this ...
Pros: does absolutely what it says. Money back guarantee. Cons: none
The oil free Eye Makeup Remover is one of Mary Kay's coolest products. It works just like it says and it is inexpensive when you think about how long you are going to have it( I've had mine for almost a year and it's still half full. I started using ...
Pros: Leaves no oily film in eyes and a little goes a long way Cons: Availability, but you can find a rep on their website if needed
I sold Mary Kay for a little while in the mid 90's but even while doing so, I only used certain products, continuing to use my favorites from other product lines - what can I say? I'm fickle. No, really, I just know what I like and I don't care if it's ...
THIS STUFF IS GREAT EVEN FOR CONTACT LENSE WEARERS! by nlbeltran ,Nov 17 '03
Pros: ONLY PRODUCT I KNOW TO REMOVE EYE MAKEUP WHILE WEARING CONTACTS LENSES. Cons: YOU HAVE TO RINSE WITH WARM WATER WHEN YOU ARE THROUGH.
THIS PRODUCT IS FANTASTIC! I CAN REMOVE MY EYE MAKEUP WITHOUT HAVING TO FIRST REMOVE MY CONTACT LENSES. THERE IS NO OILY RESIDUE ON MY CONTACT LENSES OR MY HANDS. YOU DON'T HAVE TO RUB THE PRODUCT ON YOUR EYES. GENTLY HOLD THE COTTON BALL OVER YOUR EYE (ONE AT A TIME) AND THE MAKEUP JUST LIFTS RIGHT OFF. RINSE WITH WARM WATER.
Pros: Actually works and is gentle to the skin around the eyes. Cons: Can be messy and can sting!
This product actually does work! Dab a little on a cotton ball and swipe over your lid and everything from shadow to liquid eyeliner is removed!
My only qualms are that it is a little oily and if you get too much on the cotton ball, it can sting your eyes a bit. The bottle is a bit big and so I find myself dousing the cotton accidentally more often than I would like.
Otherwise, it is a useful product that keeps smudges off my pillow case! It is great to not have to tug at the delicate skin around your eyes just to get the make-up off. It is a gentle product and fairly easy to use. My mother is in her 60's and uses it as well. It serves well with older eyelids that have folds or wrinkles and cleans thoroughly.
Pros: Works well, and is fairly easy on sensitive eyes. Cons: It's expensive, and must be ordered from a Mary Kay rep.
I have very sensitive eyes, and I do like this product quite a bit. However, I've found that Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover is very similar, and quite a bit less money. Mary Kay is $14 for a 3.75 oz. bottle, while the Neutrogena is about $7 for 5.5 oz. and it's available easily at the drug store. The Neutrogena is similar in that it has the two separate liquids that mix when shake; not sure if they are the same ingredients since I couldn't find an ingredient list for the Mary Kay product.
