Pros: Small brush makes it easy to reach corner lashes to lengthen and define. Cons: Not a thickening mascara
For the last few months I've been using R
evlon
Lash Fantasy, a mascara that includes a primer coat along with the regular mascara. However, I found it was just taking too long for my rushed mornings and I also really ...
Pros: Mini wand, washes off easily, worked great on lower lashes. Cons: Mini wand, clumped on upper lashes.
I didn't intentionally buy this mascara. It came as a bonus in a package with another Maybelline Mascara. However, since it was new on the market, I gave it a try. Read on to find out about my discovery. Packaging ...
Pros: separates lashes nicely; works well on lower lashes Cons: Not much lengthening or thickening of upper lashes
Don't hate me because I have two rows of lashes! Yes, I said two rows. This was discovered one day at the optometrist's office while getting my eyes checked for glasses. I always had long lashes, but after years and years of using mascara and my...
Pros: inexpensive, no flaking, easy to remove Cons: limited color choices, clumped, brush too small
I had seen the commercials and advertisements for the new Maybelline Lash Discovery Mascara. It supposedly had a new mini brush design that could get in between lashes better and make them look thicker and fuller than using a regular brush. I...
Pros: Natural looking lashes, no clumping, easy-to-use brush. Cons: Only available in 3 (traditional) colors
The key here is the mini-brush. Okay, I’m not the most graceful person, so putting on mascara (particularly in a rush) can be a less-than-pretty venture. This mini-brush helps me NOT get mascara smudges on parts of my face ill-suited for mascara (chee ...
Pros: Soft, natural-looking lashes Cons: Can clump; not a dramatic difference
Of all the make-up products in the world, the one I experiment with most is mascara. I don't think I've ever bought the same kind twice in a row. I don't know what exactly I'm expecting to happen; I just know that I'll know it when I see it. So I am ...
Pros: Inexpensive, lightweight, reaches hard to reach lashes, no spider legs! Cons: none!
Experience I am an absolute makeup obsessed woman. I have boxes full of makeup because I am always out there looking for the perfect product. Mascara is so important. If I somehow forget to wear mascara, I feel as if my face is not complete. ...
Pros: A brush you can control; natural, defined, separated lashes. Cons: If you like the thick/lush effect, it is not for you.
Honestly, mascara frightens me. Why? Because of those massive brushes full of thick dye that I must manoeuvre onto my thin, curly lashes. Sometimes those brushes look bigger than my eye which is so intimidating! Having naturally curly and somewhat ...
Pros: Fantastic separation, lengthening, and ability to reach the tiny inner eye lashes. Cons: None, provided you want a lengthening, as opposed to a thickening, mascara.
Lash Discover mascara is the next best thing to Maybelline's discontinued Lash By Lash mascara. The small brush is not a gimmick. It really does reach every single lash I've got and it is not awkward to use.
Pros: Grabs every lash
Small brush makes applying easy Cons: As is gets older, clumps are harder to avoid.
I am always interested in trying new products, however it is really hard to choose because I don't want to buy something and then it just not work which can happen with drugstore and department brands. I happened to pick up a tube of Maybelline Lash ...
Pros: very small, easy to carry on your cosmetic bag and last long enough. Cons: hard to clean
The Lash Discovery waterproof mascara features: Lengthens and defines lashes Exclusive mini-brush allows you to reach hard to get lashes - from corner to corner, root to tip and bottom too Waterproof formula lasts all day without clumping or globbing ...
Good enough, but nothing too special. by pinkfeatherboa ,Oct 13 '03
Pros: LOVE the tiny brush, good formula, cheap. Cons: Not good enough to buy again!
Maybelline was on sale (40% off plus $2 rebate) at Rite-Aid, so I picked up this mascara. I am a Full N Soft fan, but the mini-brush seemed like a neat idea, so I got one in Black.
The mascara formula is pretty good, almost creamy. It tends to look a tiny bit clumpy if too much is applied, though. It helps to wipe the brush on a tissue before applying. The best part of the mascara is the brush, I love it! It's so small it grabs every last lash. It makes them look very wide-eyed. I also love the flirty, fringe look that bigger brushes give though. It depends on the mood of your makeup.
Since the formula is not as good as Full N Soft, I will most likely save the brush once this is gone and not repurchase the mascara.
Lash Discovery Works for Me! by flgirl38 ,Dec 07 '03
Pros: No clumps here, separates nicely, leaves lashes looking natural. Cons: None so far.
I have had good luck with this mascara. It has not clumped, the mini brush works well for my lashes, and it lengthens nicely leaving lashes looking natural. Price is great too. If you are looking for a mascara to thicken lashes or a variety of colors, this would not be the right choice.
Pros: Small brush separates and defines lashes Cons: Clumps
I recently switched from Maybelline Greatlash to this mascara. I like the smaller brush of the Lash Discovery mascara, as it makes getting in between each lash much easier. My lashes look full and long. The only problem is that the mascara seems to clump a bit but not much more than most other mascaras.
Natural looking and pretty waterproof by auntnett ,Jan 30 '06
Pros: Lengthens, separates and is pretty waterproof Cons: Sometimes smears undereye (maybe my eye cream, not LD!); dries out too quickly
I have used the mascara exclusively for the last 2 or 3 years, after having used mascaras in EVERY price range. I love the mini brush because as the other reviewer said, you can really get at those bottom lashes. However, unlike the other reviewer I also love it for my top lashes. It lengthens, separates and only occasionally requires additional separation with my I-Lash Comb (which, by the way, I would not be without), unlike all the others. I like the plain, narrow tube as I find many others too large or awkwardly shaped. Not quite as waterproof as I'd like, although it does well most of the time. Unfortunately, I'm afraid Maybelline may be discontinuing it as I have been having trouble finding it lately.
