Pros: extremely comfortable Cons: 2.5" thickness might not be enough
My parents got a Memory Foam mattress last year for their bed, and every time I went to visit, I had to take a nap. I had a really good excuse; I was pregnant and needed to nap, but I did it on their bed instead of the guest bed. It was so incredibly ...

by fujfuj ,Jul 14 '07
Pros: Quick and easy. Cons: Hard moving in bed and cuts off circulation.
We used a 2inch thick memory foam pad on our king-sized mattress from Denver Mattress Company. The pad was not from DMC, only the mattress was. It seemed wonderful for the first few days, but after using it for a short while we found that it was difficult to move around at night and the circulation was cut off when we lay on our sides. One of us is overweight, about 250 lbs., and the other one average weight, about 150 lbs. Both of us had the same problem. The mattress was supposed to be king-sized, but it pulls away from the edge of the mattress when you get on it and we lost 1-2 inches from around the edge when we slept on it. We tried the mattress pad for 3 months and finally took it off.
