Pros: Last forever, good handling, quiet for a truck tire Cons: Expensive, but last longer. Mud / Snow traction just OK after 50%
I purchased these tires back in about 2002 from Costco for about $600 Canadian funds at the time. Great tire and well worth the money spent. Handling was great on the 225/75/R16 load range D tires. They were quiet and wear was awesome. They were on ...
Pros: Smooth ride, low noise, great all-purpose traction. Superb tire life. Cons: A bit soft feeling when they're new and the tread is thickest.
We have the LTX A/T tires on a 1999 Blazer, and have just lived through the 2003 Colorado blizzard. I just couldn't wait to write this review, because these tires are about the best all-around performers I've ever driven. We put the tires on about 5 ...
Pros: Long, long, LONG life, smooth, quiet ride, sturdy and durable Cons: Not the cheapest tires you can get -- but among the best
I just yesterday purchased my second set of Michelin LTX A/T tires for my 2-wheel drive Ford F-150. The first set lasted 118,000 miles, and would have gone even farther except that I hit a piece of metal in the road and tore one of them up, so decided...
Pros: Deep Tread - Traction, Mileage, Smooth, Good Value for $$$ Cons: Quality is reflected in the price
As of this morning, I am on my second set of Michelin LTX A/T tires.
The first set of tires I replaced were Firestone A/T's on my full size Bronco. The Firestones were pretty much shot at 24k miles, and I always felt they were very noisy for...
Pros: smooth ride, little noise, and good traction Cons: none noted
I recently purchased four of these tires for my Chevy Blazer. I have always respected the products that Michelin has to offer, but now I am a true fan.
Throughout the ongoing battle of tire recalls not only do these tires last longer than most, now...
Bought a set for my 1994 4Runner at 30000 miles. These tires had 19/32 of tread when new. These tires provided excellent traction on and off the road until they had about 40000 miles on them. I began to notice wet traction was getting worse than I ...
Pros: Longevity, quiet, great traction.
Cons: Honestly can't think of any.
I replaced the tires (Goodyear Invectas)? that came on my new 1992 Chevy 2 wheel drive at about 35,000 kms, because of seperation at the sidewall. Don't ask me why a truck would come with passenger car tires to begin with. Goodyear would not do anything ...
Pros: excellent grip in all conditions. Fairly quiet ride. Cons: expensive.
I just Got my wife a Suzuki Grand Vitara a couple of weeks ago and she had a scare in the rain with those terrible factory goodyear tires it came with. So I went looking through tireracks tire catalog and to my surprise they offer these tires in the...
Pros: good traction, even wear, and ride Cons: wear quick
I own a 1990 Ford F-250 diesel. About two years ago I bought these tires only because I like Michelin tires.
I would like to say I am very satisfied. The tires are great and soon I will be buying another set; of the same one's.
Pros: Very quiet for AT's, rode smoothly, off-road traction was very good. Cons: none
I bought my '97 Chevrolet ext. cab pickup new and got about 60K out of the original tires. The first (and only) set I've put on it set since then (in '99) was a set of Michelin LTX A/T's. From day one they felt stable on and off the pavement. Those...
Pros: Great traction in snow and mud. Quiet for an at tire. Good Highway ride Cons: none
I purchased a set of the Michelin ltx /at tires for my GMC Sonoma about two months ago. I have put about 6000 miles on them and have had a chance to drive them in a wide variety of conditions. So far I really like these tires. About a week after I got...
Pros: michelin quality, snow and ice traction Cons: a bit harsher ride than a passenger tire
replaced my BF goodriches with these fine tires. somewhat harsh ride at slower speeds on the street, but definitely handle well on the rougher stuff. if you dont see adverse conditions that often, go with the M/S model as its a much smoother ride, but...
Pros: Incredible Traction in Mud or Snow, Quiet, Great performance on or off road. Cons: Price
I have the Michelin LTX AT 265/75/R16 tires on my 98 Extended Cab Dodge Ram Sport. These are by far, the best all around tire on the market! These tires out perform BF Goodrich AT KO tire in my opinion. They are quieter in wet weather and grip the...
I bought this product because of Michelin's Quality. I've owned this particular set of tires for 45,000 miles.I still have 6/32 of the tread left. All of the tires are wearing evenly and the traction is excellent. I expect to get at least 60,000 miles...
Pros: Last a long time. Takes a lot of abuse. Cons: None.
I've live in Tucson, Az. and have owned this 79 Blazer for 18 years. Tried all different brands tires. This second set of michelins has been on for 6 years , with 75,000 miles. I go on road, off road, in the snow, in the desert, I've overloaded them, and forgot to check tire pressures, driven home on flats and they've never failed me. I've never had a blow out or any problem with them in the heat. They may not be the "best" for the highway( a touch noisy) , or "best" in the sand (traction), but if your daily driver is also your weekend toy they can't be beat. Well worth the extra money
