S2000 comes originally with Bridgestone Potenza S02 tires. After 26,000 miles I was 'desperate' to make the change and picked the Michelin ...
Pros: Sticky, sticky, sticky Cons: Not great in heavy rain, punishing on bumpy roads
My last car was a 1

Saab 9-5 which came stock with 16 inch rims wrapped in 205/55 series junk. After a few years I treated her to 18 inch rims and, of course, new rubber. The first set of high performance ...
Pros: Outstanding dry traction, adequate wet traction, aggressive tread pattern. Cons: Expensive, difficult to find an installer.
When I first put tires on my dream car a year ago, I chose to go with something in the "reasonable" price zone (if you consider $1000 for 4 tires reasonable). Those tires, which I reviewed a few months ago, were the Dunlop Sport 8000 series. After ...
Pros: Exceptional grip, Strong sidewalls, excellent reputation, radical but functional tread design Cons: Price.....but it IS worth it!
I have been slowly upgrading my car, bit by bit, ever since the warranty ran out this past June. The first thing to go was the suspension which I replaced with an Eibach ProKit and KYB dampners. It was a great looking drop and improved the handling of...
Pros: Great performance tire, good grip, good feedback. Cons: Expensive, no cold traction
I own a BMW M3, 1995 2 door and recently put a set of 255/35/17's on the car. Since then I have put about 10,000 miles on the car. I am very satisfied with these tires.
For reference: I have previously owned Pilot MXX3's and Dunlop 8000's. ...
Pros: Exceptional handling and control with an affordable price. Cons: You pay a little more for the Michelin name.
I have always been intrigued by the Michelin Pilot line so the sport was a natural choice. My high expectations for the sport were exceeded in every way. Right from the start as you pull out from the tire shop you notice the difference. ...
the Pilot Sport is the best tire made other than the Pilot HX. the Pilot sport is geared toward the SL500 in all of us. the "crusing at 150" in all of us. the pilot sport is NOT a balance. it rides hard. but its absolute bliss. the best rubber...
These tires came with my 2003 Neon SRT-4 in a 205/50/zr17 size. When I got the car they did not work well in the corners, I checked the pressure and the dealer had them at 32psi. I went to 39psi front and 38psi rear and the car felt a lot better...
Pros: Does what it claims - extreme grip and great in the wet Cons: Unbelievably low mileage
If you are into agressive driving and need 225/45/17 z-rated tires with awesome grip then these are for you - many say these are the best going, they're certainly the best I've ever had.
In the wet they get even better and through pools of...
Great tire until 30,00 miles by kyboater ,Aug 14 '06
Pros: Great tire when new Cons: Wear factor
When I bought these tires, after reading the reviews, and of course Michelin is my first choice in tires, I really liked the tires. They improved the ride and handling of my G35.
Now at 30,00 miles the ride is diminished and the road noise is unbearable. I will be replacing these with another tire, maybe Michelin, or not.
great tire except only 3000 miles tread wear by toolman16 ,Jun 21 '07
Pros: traction, cornering Cons: price, very low tread wear -3000miles
Great tire. Cornering, traction in wet and dry weather all fantastic. I have a SLK 55 AMG and only got 3000 miles and I'm down to the belts. The car has traction control and it does not "burn out/spin" the rear tires. Except for $$$ and poor tread wear it is a great tire. All other aspects were great. Good looking. I had the 245/35 ZR18.
