Pros: Outstanding quality, excellent technical support, very cost effective. Cons: Have yet to find anything I haven't liked about it.
I recently purchased a Microboards Print Factory II for my video company. We were looking for a very cost effective, high quality disc printer that would impress our clients who do a lot of cd and dvd duplication with us. After considerable research, we ...

Service Department is Awful! by microboardhate ,Aug 21 '04
Pros: Printer runs great with unotherized ink Cons: Microboards will not support parts even if you are willing to pay.
When your printer breaks and you want to send it for servicing, Beware! If you opt to pay $100 more they will tell you whats wrong with it in 7 days. When they do not meet their obligation and ask them for some answer better than it is on the bench, the Tech Manager might get a bad attitude and tell you that your printer in unfixable. I am an HP authorized repair person and their statement is just plain wrong. They called to tell me that I was using refilled ink and that I made a modification to the chasis. This printer is out of warranty and I am happy to pay for its repair or even the parts to fix it myself. This printer has over 25,000 copies on it and it was done with a total of 10 cartridges. For this tech manager not to support parts for this printer is something I will take all the way to court.
CD/DVD Printer Gets Job Done by drtduplicators ,Sep 08 '03
Pros: Very fast, inexpensive ink, reliable. Cons: Printer itself costs more than competitors - but makes itself up in cartridge costs
I bought one of these to do a ten thousand (10,000) piece job for another company. Ran all ten thousand day and night on my living room table. Never locked once. Got 500 full-color discs per cartridge, cartridges cost $60 a piece. Never seen anything like it. Nearest competitor costs three times as much per disc, and takes twice as long to print.
