This game is a great 1st person shooter. Its a great role playing game kind of. But the multiplayer isn't that great.

In this First person shooter, you have to mindlessly kill alien scum known as the Covenant.

Being Master Cheif you help fight them with the help of Cortana, an AI who give's your order's through the helmet.

The controls bothered me, it was really annoying driving the warthog, especally going at high speed's. This could have been improved.

Another thing missing, is a map. So it's easier to get lost, which happens. Especially with the size of the level's, they are huge, and could take anywhere from 30 minute's to an hour.

The aliens alone are cheap looking. They aren't even threatening in any way.

You could only carry two weapons at a time, which do run out of ammo quickly. Which is a shame, since most of the time you will get cornered by the alien force's.

Further more, the graphics are fairly good. The animated cutscene's bring a sense of realism to the screen.

Pros: Superior graphics. Amazing fighting.

I can't say enough about this game. My husband used to be anti-video game until I hooked him up with this bad boy! Now I never see him! He's totally addicted and so am I! Incredible gaming experience! Highly recommended!

My first Xbox game, its got better visuals than most fighting games i've seen, the alien weapons and vehicles actually look alien which is a big plus. If you're into non-corny sci-fi, this is the game for you. the explosions and physics of the action are very realistic compared to other types of games like this--not that there are many like halo.
I'd say its got some damn cool music, graphics, concepts and story lines to it. This game could be easily made into an awesome movie or tv series--something like Buck Rogers if anyone remembers that stuff.
