Pros: Fully wireless, small but comfortable, inexpensive and responsive. Cons: None that I have encountered.

Pros: fits my hand well. accurate for my purposes. receiver stores in mouse Cons: no dedicated on/off button
Most of the time, my computer stays at home, but there are days when it has to go with me. That need for portability caused me to get a laptop. My laptop has a touchpad built in, but there are times where nothing replaces the flexibility of a mouse. I ...
Pros: Easy to install, Works on any surface, No wires Cons: Umm, it can be kind of heavy in your purse (or murse)?

Pros: Small, comfortable design and works great. Cons: Scroll button is a little loud.

Pros: Compact but not too small, USB receiver stores in bottom of mouse. Cons: Subject to interference from unknown-- metal desk, transformer, wiring-- still can't figure it out.

Overall good. Very solid mouse by davebenham ,Jan 25 '07
Pros: Good battery life, durable, and no interference issues. Cons: No side navigation buttons. Smaller than standard desktop mouse. Scroll wheel is not great.
I use this mouse with my laptop about 10-20 hours a week. I've found it to be pretty good.
Battery life is excellent, one battery every 6-12 months and you are good to go. The receiver unit, when not plugged into your computer, can be stored by plugging into the back of the mouse. When the receiver is stored in the mouse, it turns the mouse off in order to conserve battery life.
The scroll wheel is a bit tight and mechanical, but adequate. I only wish the mouse had side navigation buttons. I've never had any problems with interference or reception, but who would expect problems going only 2-3 feet?
I don't remember needing any special software or drivers for it. Windows XP was able to recognize it with no problems.
Bottom line, I've never once had to think about this mouse, so it works as advertised.
Pros: Small, light, and you can bring is along anywhere in your pocket. Cons: Takes some getting used to after the big wired mouses.
I just got this mouse for my laptop and it's wonderful! This mouse is more portable than my laptop. Small enough to put in your pocket and it only uses one AA battery. Also there's no off button you just put the adapter into its little place under the mouse and the thing just shuts off.
It's cute too. It's only about 5 in. long and maybe 3 in wide. And if your getting way too tired with those long cords and just want to be free, then get one of these. Their cheap, uses only one AA battery for a long time and you can use is anywhere! Perfect for game players and office people all alike.
But the thing is that if you use those big mouses with all those buttons then it's pretty hard to get used to this one. I got used to it in a week but might be longer for you. But all in all I sum it up to be a great product.
Great little mouse, very compact & portable. by nd_redleg ,Apr 02 '05
Pros: Attractive, comfortable. Receiver tucks into base for compact and power-saving portability. Cons: Gets a *little* uncomfortable after very long periods of use, but what portable doesn't? Pricey.
I had a Targus wireless optical notebook mouse that met an untimely demise after its reciever was crushed (my own fault). I immediately wanted another one since the trackpad on my notebook makes me crazy after anything more than a few minutes. I picked up this one by Microsoft as a replacement since I had one of their desktop optical models that I was very impressed with. The MS model was much more attractive, its contours make it more comfortable, it has a scroll wheel, and I love how the receiver tucks underneath the mouse body for travel, shutting it down to preserve battery power. My old Targus had itty-bitty little switches underneath and on the receiver that weren't too easy to get to, and very easy to forget when packing up for travel. The MS one is a little more dummy-proof since you want a nice place to stick the receiver when you take it out anyway. Although it includes a "synch" function for when it's powered on after being shut down, I haven't needed used yet - truly plug and play. And, after a month and a half of use I'm still on the original AAA battery.
GREAT, little, convenient, optical mouse!!!! by rossef ,Aug 12 '05
Pros: easy, small, optical, cordless, long battery life, convenient, snap-in receiver, conforms to hand. Cons: sometimes doesn't work on lightly textured surfaces.
this is an exteremely useful mouse to travel ot just use at your desk while your working on your laptop. I really like that it's sensitive, nice and small, conforms to well to your hane, easy to change the battery, long battery life, scroll ring in the middle of the two buttons, and the thing I LOVE about this mouse is how the receiver that hooks into the laptop USB port, conveniently snaps INTO the mouse. That was very important for me, and should be for you, because if you lose that....the mouse is unusable..think about that. hehe. so I HIGHLY recommend this product, it's wonderful. the only bad thing I have to speak of is that sometimes on certain textured tables it doesn't work to full potential; it's not that bad though.
Everything works as expected. The USB plug-in receiver stores neatly in the bottom of the mouse - this also is the way to shut off the mouse. So, if you mistakenly leave your work area for a long period of time, with the mouse plugged into the laptop, you are wearing down your battery. Hasn't happened to me yet, but beware. I got about 2 1/2 months of regular business usage (every day) before I had to change batteries.
