Pros: Great Graphic, Lots of Game Developers Cons: Pricey, Bad Controller
The New Microsoft XBOX ready to be released Nov. 15. This review is written before the xbox actually release, but i've got my hands on XBOX system at the Xbox Odyssey in San Francisco few days ago.
Ok ok I will start with the system first:...

Pros: Good specs, support Cons: It's a Microsoft PC
First off, that lovely shiny X shaped chrome object IS NOT the xbox! It won't look like that, not even slightly. That was simply a concept mock-up used at press releases. In fact, it's as real as the specs that seem to change on a weekly basis.
One...

Pros: Good hardware! Impressive Cons: Little support from console game companies.
X-box is coming but where are all the games? I think the X-box is gonna do poorly when it comes out. The only reason that the X-box is being made is because the people at Microsoft saw an opportunity to make more money. Truly, I hope Microsoft bombs...

Pros: great sound, great graphics, great gameplay, great functionality, value, expansive game library, easy to use Cons: unfairly talked about, heavy, all fans of xbox are considered biased against other consoles
I have owned and operated the xbox console since the day I waited at that Best Buy line for three hours. I've been through four xboxes, and feel I have sufficient experience to accurately review. To begin, I could go through all the numbers and tell ...

Pros: specs are nice Cons: could be a grab for more power
Is Microsoft predicting a demise of PC games and moving to consoles? Are people getting dumber to the point that they have to have closed systems that need no servicing? Or does Microsoft simply want to own everything?
Well, it's hard to tell...

Pros: Will be a very powerful game console. Cons: Game library undetermined
This is so pointless how Epinions lets us write opinions on game consoles that haven't even been released yet. Many people do think that they can accurately predict a future of a game console. But they are not always right.
3 console wars...

Pros: Fantastic all around--modular feel, great experience! Cons: DVD volume is a little too soft.
My wife gave it to us for Christmas. So far, we have played Dead or Alive 3 and we LOVE IT. I also have played the Oddworld: Munch's Oddesey, Halo and a couple of others as well.
Overall gaming impression: WONDERFUL graphics and FANTASTIC...

Pros: Fastest and best graphics, great hard drive capabilities, quality library. Cons: DVD funcionality costs 30 bucks.
I have had my Microsoft XBox for almost 4 years now, and it works as well as the day I got it. Everything about this system is fantastic. First off, I think the appearance is rugged and attractive. Many people don't like that it weighs nearly 10 ...

Pros: It can be a wonderfully versatile small PC which hooks up to your TV set... Cons: ...but it can also be Microsoft's X-Box, which while good, isn't the top console.
The Microsoft X-Box is really two consoles; Microsoft's X-Box, and MY X-Box. This is an important distinction for anyone with the courage to try using a couple downloads off the Internet to make their console better at considerable risk, but I'll get ...

Pros: Hard drive, great online play, great games Cons: No DVD playing out of box upsets some people
When I was shopping for a console, I had the usual debate between Xbox and PS2's ... I wanted something to replace my PC for playing games, as the rat race to have the fastest PC was simply not worth it any more. The PS2 was a more established ...

Pros: Fast, good graphics, and has a hard drive. Cons: Requires separate kit to play DVDs.
The Xbox Game Console from Microsoft Corporation allows you to play Games, Music, and DVDs all from one box.
First Run
When you first turn on your Xbox after getting it out of the box, it will ask you for time. A con is, if you...

Pros: has many x box live games Cons: kinda lags on live if not in a good area
The x box has a couple of competitors out there including ps2 and Nintendo but no body else has halo.... This game was a breakthrough in several areas and is one of the few that really uses all of the x box's capabilities to the fullest. Halo was pretty ...

Pros: Best specs, graphics capabilities of any console, great for live Cons: Overall weak selection of titles and gameplay, doesn't use full potential.
This console is definitely the champ for graphics and online gaming. Boasts some killer exclusives such as HALO, Knights of the Old Republic, Dead or Alive 3. Console is greatly improved by having the smaller S-Controller and the 8 or 10GB HD is ...

Pros: Great graphics (for its generation), exclusive HALO platform, XBOX live Cons: DVD kit extra $20
The XBOX original is far superior to its main class rivals, the Gamecube and PS2, if you are a gamer looking for heavy gaming and blockbuster titles such as the exclusive HALO - which is in itself, when paired with XBOX online, an awesome experience (get ...

Pros: Graphics, hard drive, games, processor speed, and price. Cons: Controller is tough to get used to.
I was at a local Best Buy, contemplating what game console system to buy. XBox or PS2 were the two choices I had it narrowed down to. I had previously owned PS2, but the game console had gone through a lot of wear and tear throughout my college career ...
