Pros: This will be the platform of the future Cons: Slow start
If you read most of the reviews of the Xbox on this site, none of them were written after the Xbox actually came out.
The Xbox arrived in Mid November 2001 alongside the Gamecube.
The Xbox is setup to become the gaming platform of...

Pros: Not only does it play games it also plays DVDS! Cons: a little pricey for games and for the console itself..but absolutely worth it!
I'll admit that I am not much of a video game buff. They just haven't appealed to me at all since the original Nintendo game console. My brothers have owned every game console since Atari however.
I can honestly say that I did think that the...

Pros: Great System With Some Cool Features Cons: No Reset Button
XBOX may not be the biggest thing going over there in Asia. However here in the U.S. XBOX has a pretty strong following. Why is this however? Is Bill Gates making us all enjoy XBOX through mind control radio waves? Why he must. He is an evil corprate tyco ...

Pros: Easy set up.
Powerful.
Great graphics and audio. Cons: Not as many games (for now)
Possible hard drive robustness and crash prone?
With a couple of little kids it was a tough decision between XBOX, PS 2 and Gamecube. I think others have submitted great reviews about the target audience of these three. I was at first inclined to go with the Gamecube but again after reading about...

Pros: A True Graphics Powerhouse
Built in Hard-Drive Cons: Expensive
Bulky
Finally after a long wait the much hyped X-box has arrived. Is it what they say it is on all the television shows and magazine articles. Well it can be. For a launch system the games are decent. Some of these titles though are actually quite good....

Pros: great graphics, great sound, nice dvd player Cons: poor quality control, noisy DVD drive, poor warranty
On gameplay issues, this system is the best. I love the graphics & the built in hard drive. The DVD playback is a mile better than PS2,which I am also a fan of, other than DVD and the need for memory cards. The standard controller is ok, but the new S...

Pros: Graphical beauty, nice controller, backed by giant company and good developers Cons: the games aren't quite there en masse yet
I'm going to be relatively simple here.
All this jibber-jabber about money, games, size, etc., and people taking "sides" with either PS2, Xbox, or GameCube is plainly childish and non-productive.
You have some choices when buying a...

Pros: Fast Machine
Excellent Graphics and Sound Cons: Pricey
DVD Playback extra purchase
Controllers a bit bulky
Well I finally got the new XBOX and I must say I am very impressed. Since I do not own a Gamecube or a PS2 I can only give a comparision based on some time I have had to play with the other systems in the stores.
The xbox is obviously larger...
